  1. (Wanna start this off by saying I thought maybe it was maybe caused by files possibly getting corrupted so i re-installed the game but it still persisted.) As of the Tuesday patch all of my gliders have been making the 'Basic Glider' sound. There's only been a few exception, the 'Cuddly Cat Glider', the cats make their little meow sounds on opening, but it still has the 'Basic Glider' sound with it. The 'Watchwork Wings Glider' and 'Zephyrite Paraglider' have no sound at all, and the 'Sheet Music Glider' will make its unique sound once I get off it. I don't have every glider, but these are the ones I do have and that have lost their unique sounds: Ad Infinitum, Fox Spirit, Archdemon Wings, Shimmering Aurora, Cute Angel Wings, Cute Demon Wings, Stained Glass Wings, Tangeldwood Wings, Lunar Glider, Vermilion Wings, Jade Tech Wings, Lightbinder Blades, Inquest Overseer, Cryomancer Glider, Scaled Dragon Wings, Forged Glider, Riding Broom, Branded Wings, Largos Fins, Geomancer Glider, Shattered Bloodstone Glider, Moth Wings, Ironclad Glider, Macaw Wings, Snowflake Glider, Exalted Glider, Bat Wings and White Feather Wings.
  2. This post isn't soully based on Rytlock being the most popular character in the game. This post is based on my my frustration of the double standers I see when people hate on Eir and Caithe, but then excuse or don't acknowledge that Rytlock has done similar things. Writing off everything I've pointed out here, all because you think he's not the most popular character is a weak argument.
  3. Rytlock is arguably Guild Wars 2’s most popular character. He’s in all their merchandising, advertisements and so on. He’s a fan favorite among the community and has recently become a focus point in the story. With that said, I want to point our attention to two other members of Destiny’s Edge, Eir and Caithe. Eir and Caithe are two characters I see hated on the most. Eir for abandoning Braham and never going to visit him. Instead staying in Holebreak and fighting dragon spawn. Caithe for killing Wynne instead of Faolain which could have stopped the Nightmare Court from getting so strong. And for stealing Glint's egg and putting it and the team in danger by running off alone. Yet, Rytlock has done similar, and in some cases worse things than this. Now I will say I find it a bit irritating that people chastise Eir for not visiting Braham more often but then don't do the same for Rytlock. But given the ‘Charr culture’ that's seen as normal, and we do get to read in his requiem that he did go and see him every once in a while. Still, he doesn't get as much flak for it as Eir. Secondly, Rytlock also put the team in danger. Firstly, Rytlock is smart we know he is, yet for some reason he doesn’t find it important to tell the team that in order to get out of the Mists he had to release a man in chains...He just, didn't stop to think “Hey maybe there’s a reason this dude's locked up, maybe he poses a kind of threat seeing as he was able to fix my sword, that was once held by Balthazar.” Speaking of which are you telling me that Rytlock has NEVER seen a statue of Balthazar in his life? I’m not saying that was a kitten move on Rytlock's part to not think that MAYBE the powerful old man that fixed his sword was Balthazar but, that was a BIG kitten move on Rytlock's part. Now yes, even if Rytlock had seen that it was Balthazar, told everyone it was Balthazar, I still believe the commander would have died. But don't you think, with the info of “Ya we might have to fight Balthazar” the team might have been a bit more prepared. If you like Rytlock, that's fine, I’m not here to tell you that you’re a bad person for liking Rytlock. What I AM here to do is to bring attention to those who like Rytlock, but complain/hate on Eir and Caithe for things that can easily be applied to Rytlock, and that maybe just maybe you have a bit of a double standard going on.
  4. So in cannon Sylvari's blood is sap right? So technically you could totally make syrup out of it. Would different Sylvari have different tastes? I know this all sounds very Inquest but I've been thinking about this for weeks now and I wanna know if other people have ever thought of this. Bonus question: If in-game you were able to make/buy Sylvari Syrup™ what stat bonuses do you think it would give and would you eat it?
  5. The game shows that I've hit the piñatas in the "Paper Dragon" achievement but I'm not getting any candy.
