The only person who has attached weight and baggage to this is you, not the devs. Sorry bro. You want productive, then go reflect on why this word triggers you so bad. It's not the game, SAB or the devs. This is 100% you.

The issue is that you are asking them to change it so that you are ok with it. The pop-ups are achievements that share the same name so people won't get confused. SAB is perfect the way it is, there is no need for changing the names because one person it taking it WAY too personal. Btw, I am not invalidating what you said or how you feel. You need to disconnect from the name and enjoy the content. Giving the name way too much power and making correlations to it that are being drawn out of nowhere. The game developers don't even know your playing SAB, chill it aint about you. No one is calling you anything at all, your making these assumptions based on something that happened in your past that you yourself mentioned you are trying to escape. BREATHE, RELAX and know no one is calling you a baby.

We all know that the player base loses interest in Festivals over time. It's a downward decaying slope on a graph interest v. festival runtime. That being said, the decision to not release all SAB themed items into the gem store at the same time of the SAB release is a HUGE miss on profit loss for your company. Why hype something up, then only deliver part way? I play with a good portion of my guild (almost 400 people) and I would've happily purchased an Infinite Continue coins for 2-3 of my full teams so we could play together and focus on fun during the festival. That is easily a $100 sink on my end that I would have done shamelessly, I would've dropped even more for the other SAB items I have yet to acquire like the chair and the mini's etc. I feel like who ever is in charge of your marketing and gem store planning dropped the ball on this one. Capitalize when it's relevant, not when interest starts to die down be cause as we have seen it does not majorly revitalize people to come back and play the festival. When the items finally come to the store my 3 teams will probably be down to 1.5 which means I will buy less for others. Just something to think about to increase profit capitalization off your festivals.

I have been calling it Baby Mode for years and it's not even in a derogatory statement. More like "let's go have fun in baby mode". I don't think it was meant to be negative at all, kind of like when you babyproof your home. The mode is called Infantile, the players playing the mode are not. Why use the property of transference to become insulted at a name? The point being, if they are gonna rename Infantile, they should rename Tribulation to Hardcore, so those who play it can feel accomplished. They should also rename Normal mode to "Average" so it doesn't implicate if I cannot finish normal mode I myself am not normal. See where I am going with this? Don't give the game modes names more power than they deserve.

Right now we are East Coast to West Coast, we usually base event time in EST. That being said the peak active time is start 5pm EST to roughly 10pm EST. However, we do have several people who game during the day and at later times.

About [NP]: New Perspective [NP] was founded in game on September 1st, 2021. We are a guild who is currently rebuilding up our community. We currently do not offer structured events, but we have knowledgeable people who will eventually be capable of running PvE content such as Fractals, Strikes, Dragon Response Mission, WvW content on Crystal Desert = Linked world (at least until Alliances release) and the few we currently have who enjoy the PvP content mode of gaming. Active Time is 2 hours before reset to 2 hours after rest on weekdays (6pm to 10pm EST). We also play more actively during the weekends before/beyond that window. We are a NA guild from Crystal Desert, if you would like to play with us in the mists you will need to be on our server, but this it NOT a requirement for membership. What [NP] Offers: Current Level 69 guild hall in the Isle of Reflection. Discord – we actively use discord and encourage our members to join us for the best gaming experience. It allows us to grow as a community and interact easily. It is completely elective but this is where the community domain mostly resides. Knowledgeable Friendly Players – Some of us have played GW2 for over 8 years and we have several years of game time in various play modes. If you ask for help we will see what we can do to help you. Play Together – We believe a guild that plays together stays together (yes, I know cliché). We often group up to do seasonal & regular events. What [NP] Expects: We request that you rep us when you play with us and/or when you feel [NP] pride! We take this stance because we highly understand that your time is your own to do as you see fit. As the guild grows there can be opportunities within our ranks for members who have shown they are worthy of promotion so there is plenty of opportunity for those wanting to lead content. When gaming with us you must adhere to our common courtesy rules. In essence it boils down to respecting one another, we do not tolerate racism, bigotry, bullying or predatory actions. Life happens, and we would love to retain membership that encompass our values so please let us know if you plan on being inactive and returning later. We are planning on expanding continuously until we hit member cap. Once we start getting close we will start to enforce removing inactive players that have given no notice. If you need to go on a hiatus, please inform leadership so when the purge occurs we can bypass you. Those who have been purged are always free to reach out to leadership for an invite when they return.
