the issues with gs2 has nothing to do with phantasms or them having quickness or not im not seeing your point

As of September 26 2023 : > Axe Auto Attack Chain + Ambush while inside the enemy's hitbox still resets the auto chain ; the mesmer's 1's chain will reset back to the first initial skill "Lacerating Chop" following the ambush no matter where in the chain the player was. This is inconsistent behaviour compared to when the player is standing outside the enemy's hitbox, ambushing will not reset the chain back to step 1 but let the player cast the step at which they left off before ambushing. > Axe Clone Auto Attack Chain + Ambush while in the hitbox still resets the clone's auto chain ; exactly like the mesmer's. > Clone Attack Speed is still reduced if the clone is standing inside the target's hitbox while the mesmer is holding an off-hand weapon of any kind.
