  1. It used to take like 1 second to channel before, then the time seems to increase somewhere like 5 seconds to channel. Its annoying now.
  2. ATM keeps crashing at random times and I don't know why.
  3. I am cool with a straight up nerf. However, I think expertise(and to the extension of concentration, and precision) should be replaced away for +% stats so that it is easier to read. +10% condi duration is easy to read. +10 expertise doesn't tell me anything.
  4. https://i.imgur.com/qgMiz5s.jpg In the In Memoriam stage, I press the white x button because there was an Adventure covering the screen and now I can't talk to Hortensia anymore.
  5. Only if the story can be skipped. 80% of the story instance is unskippable dialogue, 20% is actually doing something.
  6. I would like to see tanking come into this game and the tanking mechanic doesn't have to be very complex. Just equip a specific trait with the "Aggression buff", and mobs in combat will prioritize the player(s) equipped with that specific buff. Be warned, if you are the only one with the Aggression buff, you could have 100 mobs insta-gib you. Each profession with the Aggression Buff could have their own bonus along with that trait. Scrapper gain a barrier when hit(Merge with Adaptive Armor). Warriors gain lesser endure pain at 25% hp(Merge with Defy Pain), Ele cannot be critically hit(Merge with Stone Heart) etc.For PvP and static bosses or anything that doesn't follow the aggro management rules: players with Aggression Buff will provide a passive debuff called "Denial Debuff" to make anyone affected by it will do less damage to anyone that do not have Aggression Buff.
  7. I found a Icy Water trial water event far south of the usual icy water events usually are. Have you tried there?
  8. ANet created Home instances nodes. They give meaning to go back to the home instances everyday. Because nodes can be shared, you can invite other players to farm your home and admire your decorations. They will be a big main draw for me and ANet would benefit from having players buy home instance nodes to have more reason to go admire their own home decorations. I don't think that's related to his statement. Home instance nodes have nothing to do with housing as a primary selling point for an expansion. I don't understand what you mean it is unrelated. Nodes are the reason to go back to home instances and display your awesome decorations to other players. Clearly. The comment was that housing isn't something of a main draw for an expansion. Your reply assumes Anet is going to allow players to buy home instance nodes and put them in whatever housing would be released in an expansion and that people would even give a care about the new chair you got over in the corner. That's not related to how much a 'draw' housing is for an expansion because:We already have home instance nodes we can put in a private instance and invite people, therefore the value of being able to do so in a specific housing development that includes some customizable objects would be much lessIt's speculation that Anet would even allow farmable nodes in any new housing developing (or static objects in the existing home instances) in an expansion in the first place. Yes we do. So ANet would have nodes in the expac housing area. It would especially be useful in Gathering Dailies. It is the main draw to go into the expac housing repeatedly and it is the main draw for getting people to see them. Guildhalls had it so there is no reason to believe that housing couldn't have it if it is going to be the main draw of an expansion. If expac housing didn't have nodes, I would agree housing would be a waste and I would probably ignore it. Sunspear Refuge is a waste because they didn't have nodes. But Guildhalls were not because they did. They will be doing both when they go through my home instance. No, the interaction between a static object and a object you can get value from for crafting or trading are most definitely at different levels. Doesn't matter, how different the two is. They will pass and see my chair to get to my nodes. Whether the chair gets the people to admire it is the problem for me, the player that designed the house.

  11. Easy mode should give Legendary rewards and achievements, just that it would take longer to get them. It might take 7x longer than a normal raider would have to do. That way it won't make easy mode a big waste of time and make new players skip to normal mode. I disagree, If players want raid legendary armor then they can do them on normal mode. Easy mode wouldn't be a waste of time as the can use it to learn to do the raid encounters. It'd also let players experience the stories in raids. That is after all some of the reasons that people are giving for an easy mode. Unless those were all lies.Easy mode should be training mode. Teach players about the mechanics of the boss and get them comfortable for normal mode. Experiencing the story is a side effect and not the main goal.
  12. Rather thinking about what kind of mount that would look cool, think about what the mount could bring to the table. They can always be repurposed as gemstore skins anyways The flying cloud mount sounds like what a Skyscale is. And you can already get a flying cloud as a glider anyways.

  14. troll detected Well then, I hope that ANet decide to not give raids any support if people like you take our grievousness as troll.
  15. It is hard to get lost in Draconis Mons. It is very linear. Just in a shape of a corkscrew. One of the problem of Dry Top is that to get to the second half of the zone without mounts, you have to find a very obscure door that leads to the basement. The map itself isn't hard to navigate but if you can't find that basement, you are stuck searching the entire area for second half of the map.
  16. You can do whatever stuff you want while waiting for a party. You aren't forced to hang out of the entrance of the dungeon while the party fills up.
  17. I want raids to stay dead because devs can focus their time on content that people won't be toxic about. I like Strike Missions. I was able to join a group and kill all the bosses. Commanders don't require raid proof or get upset about DPS meters.
  18. Siren's call. The skill icon even literally has a musical note shown. Or you want to argue that musical notes have nothing to do with music? So, just one skill. Not a entire skill line? A skill in a weapon in a content that is dead. Ok then, Delete Ranger for using a warrior skill. Delete Warrior for using a Ranger skill. Merge them both into a single class. We can ignore everything else that the class stands for because of a single skill. That is what you sound like. Yeah, that's how you see it. But if you really think Anet would ever do something like this, then I think you are going to get disappointed. Hopefully they won't make Bard a mesmer spec because it makes no sense. I rather wait for a bard class than have a neutered class.
  19. I missed it because they didn't establish music being a mesmer thematic. You are forgetting one tiny, but important detail. Anet already established music as being part of the mesmer thematic. It makes no sense to seperate a thematic, which is already part of an existing class, to make an entire new class out of that theme. Except, no. They didn't. Nothing says music there. None of the traits or skills says music. Frost magic is better off split from ele. I can't make a decent frost mage dps build because water magic is all about healing. Your cryomancer example is a good example why Bard should not be a Mesmer elite. It would neuter the music spec so much.
  20. I disagree witht he people saying boost ele. Leveling Ele is straight forward once you get Summon Lesser Elemental Gylph. That way, you can have a pet that can tank for you while you cast magic from afar. With mesmer, it gets very complex when you have to manage all of your clones.
  21. A better example would be a mesmer merging as an elementalist elite spec and giving them Mirror image as a F5 skill and calling it a day. A lot of mages from other games give mirror clones to mages instead of making an illusionist mage. Imagine how different would the game be if ANet just did that. However, with a music spec, You have Norn and their Viking-like songs, Asura with 8-bit music, Humans with classical and marching band music, Sylvari with nature like music, Charr and their metal band. Lion Arch with sea shanties. Each with very distinct cultures. As elite specs, It can be expanded to Cantha with Asian like music, with Elona and African inspired music. Not to mention that there are whole races. And we don't have to limit to just Bard and music. Dancing is part of entertainment. Dancer and Bard tend to be part of the troupe. A mesmer would just limit the class to just one subset of a genre. Agh no. I would definitely not want to see Bards having shouts. Rift had short burst of instrument sounds and that was terrible. I want to see Bards be more like Ragnarok Online bards where they actually play songs during battle.
  22. What about a music spec? Yeah, people could just say mesmer. But that would limit the class a lot. There is a lot of musical culture out there that 5 utility + 1 weapon + 1 traitline cannot fit in.
  23. If there is going to be a new profession. It would have to be a musical class aka Bard. Yeah, people might say that the thief and mesmer could fill this role. But it would limit the potential a whole lot. Every spec of the bard class could come from different cultures. There could be a skald spec that takes from Norn culture and focuses on melee. A Charr band spec. A human marching band spec, A techno music spec, Elona music with African music spec, Canthan with the asian music spec. This isn't something that a new traitline + 5 new skills can be added to get the feel of it.
  24. We don't really need a Golemancer elite spec. Just get Runes of the Golemancer and play/look like a class that would summon a golem.
