  1. Ok after seeing how this actually works I admit I was wrong. I thought dailies were getting replaced by weekly achievements. I have to admit it is a good change being able to get rewarded for daily and weekly achievements

New Weekly Achievements We’re adding a set of weekly achievements that reward players for active and positive contribution to World vs. World—for example, capturing objectives, taking down dolyaks, and defeating enemy players. Completing these achievements each week will reward players with 8 gold and up to 35 additional WvW Skirmish Claim Tickets (a ~10% increase in max weekly tickets). The weekly gold reward will only require completion of six out of seven of the achievements to give players flexibility in how they complete the weekly meta-achievement. These achievements will reset every Sunday at 11:30 p.m. Pacific Time (UTC-8). Ok so now we are losing gold per week. Allow me to explain. Under the current system we complete 3 daily wvw objectives and earn 2 gold/day. 2 gold/day x 7 days=14 gold. Under the new system we will earn 8 gold for completing 6 of 7 weekly objectives? That is a loss of 6 gold/week. If anything the weekly amount needs to be increased(especially since you can earn more in the other 2 game modes) rather than decreased
  3. I'm experiencing the same issue. I've killed 7 yaks on different bls(red blue,and green)and have the same results listed above by Pagan
  4. trying to do my dailies for wvw. One of which is daily caravan disrupter. I have now killed 7 different yaks on multiple bls(red, green, and blue) and no credit for it. I tried relogging and redoing it and still the same result. Also on the side under the dailies it is showing multiple yaks of different enemy color when there are none around. Anyone else experiencing this problem?
  5. to answer the above questions. Yes the whole guild plays wvw regularly. We run wvw everyday. Also all of us clicked the box on tuesday to select which guild we would choose for the beta result and these were still the results.
  6. here is what happened this time 1) We all chose to represent our guild for this beta(yet again). Our selection was in on Tuesday. When the beta went live everybody in the guild was assigned a different server. From what we have experienced if your in a guild that has an overwhelming amount of numbers you get assigned to the same beta server. If your a smaller guild(like us) you get separated to essentially fill in the gaps on other servers 2) No queue issues have been solved by this alliance beta. When it went live again last night every bl had a queue of 60+. It took me 3 hours before i could actually get in and play. 3)When I finally did get in the skill lag was so bad i couldn't even perform basic functions. I have never had a skill lag issue in regular wvw for the 10 years i've been playing it. Only seems to happen in these beta events. Wasn't even worth playing Here is my suggestion to anet. Either scrap this whole concept(since it has now failed 3x....3 strikes and it's out) or if they want to continue to try and "improve" it offer players an option on whether or not they want to participate in the beta rather than forcing us into it. You should be able to pick if you want to participate in the beta. If so you get assigned to a beta server. If not you stay in current wvw on the server you are on
  7. same I have now had 5 DC's in a matter of minutes. Instead of worrying about new expansion packs how bout you fix the bugs this game already has such as your bottom of basement amazon cloud servers
  8. I wouldn't be sad to see it go. We did fine without a mount in WvW for how many years? Personally I think it was just a ploy for Anet to try and get more people in to wvw. People who normally don't wvw got it and bounced. Mission failed Anet!
  9. I'd like to see some new playable races and classes in the new expansion. They added new classes in GW1 in almost every expansion. The only new one we have gotten since release is the rev. Think it's overdue. Since the new expansion is going to deal with underwater content why not make a underwater bl that incorporates some new siege and skills. Legendary and ascended water weapons could be a new thing as well.
  10. 1) When you try to dismount(skill 1) it fails a majority of the time2) The dismount an enemy skill(skill 4) misses its target most of the time3) The sniff ability(skill 2) should be able to detect stealth players4)The speed nerf it got is horrible. You can literally run faster by getting the shrine buff in red blIt was good when it was first introduced but now it feels like it is almost completely useless. How bout some fixes for this ANET
