  2. I have tried many different builds for virtuoso, yet, unfortunately none of them has performed better than Chrono or Mirage. Power Chrono beats Power Virtuoso. Also, Power Virtuoso's most of dps comes from the Phantasms, not from the traits/bladesongs/dagger that provided by the elite spec. In addition to that, Chrono is one of the best boon supporter and dps. Condi Mirage beats Condi Virtuoso in terms of DPS as well. And again, like the Chrono, Condi Alacrity Mirage build is one of top DPS Support build. Even Virtuoso's all traits and utilities are DPS related, yet still way behind in terms of DPS compared to other 2 elite specs. Also unlike Virtuoso, concepts of both Chrono and Mirage are inventive. So, what would make you prefer Virtuoso over Chrono and Mirage? For me, nothing. I believe that a rework is needed for Virtuoso.
  3. I've changed my build to condi as well. But I use Illusion and Dueling traits similar to@Nezekan.2671 Dueling traits makes your F2 to inflict 20 stacks of "Confusion", also Sharper Images and Master Fencer have perfect synergy with Jagged Mind. My rotation starts with; •F2(5 Blades) •Pistol 5&4, Dagger 2 •1st F1(5 Blades) •Rain of Swords, Dagger 3&2 •2nd F1(5 Blades) •{Swap weapon}Torch 5&4, Dagger1 until F2 cooldown *I try to lay elite skill whenever I can gather mobs in a line. Build is very effective against single target mobs but not valid for groups. Even skills have piercing ability, its hard to get mobs in a line. Also there is no condi-cleanse or any other skill that would increase sustainability.
  4. And also, Inspiration and Illusion goes well together. Changed F1 into an ammo skill, so I can use F1 twice in a row after I land down my phantasm skills(GS 4, Sword 5 etc.). With bonus of Quickness from the Illusion as well, I was able to spam my skills more often. So it was enough to fill DPS I get from Domination trait lines. But because of the taunt, this may disables Duelist's Reversal which gives boons if you evade or block.
  5. Well, I tried Inspiration to have more sustain and it was not that bad. My build was; Inspiration 3 2 2 Domination 1 2 2 Virtuoso 1 1 1 Dagger/Sword GS Marauder stats. With Signet of the Ether, I was able to spam small healings which is very handy while soloing. Also bladesongs are easy to spam, so more sustain.

  7. I was super hyped when they announced the new expansion, yet, after the beta I just lost it. I was hoping to see something that is relevant to GW1. Still there is no major changes in the game except new elite specializations and riding turtles. Even the last update(2020 April) for the Guild Wars 1 was way better then EoD expansion. To be honest, I would prefer a remastered GW1 over EoD expansion. End-game still sucks. Not a dime for WvW mode. Guild Wars means battles between the guilds, right? People are forced to farm shiny skins to look like a Miley Cyrus instead of having guild battles like in GW1.
  8. 1- It depends. WvW: I prefer to play with Power GS Mirage build when zerging. But while roaming, I switch to Trailblazer Axe Mirage. Fractals & Open World: I prefer Viper stats to maximize DPS(Axe build). For tagging, GS is the best ofc. Solo Open World: Trailblazer(Staff build) 2- I prefer Carrion stats for PvP. Hybrid seemed always better to me. But there are some Power Sword builds that looks viable. 3- Yes. I do not play GS in sPvP but it works very well in WvW. If you want to play a power build in sPvP, I think Sword builds are quite good especially in sPvP.
  9. Scrappers are tough but that does not make them broken. In addition to this, as a Scrapper, you cannot burst down an enemy as well. If you find Scrapper broken, there are some Tempest builds that I wish you to encounter in PvP.
  10. This is not just a "Trapper Rune" issue.I do not have Trapper Rune on my Guardian and still it burns enough to turn Rome into ash. Even if you check forums, especially PvP section, you can see that most of topics are about whether "burn damage" or "DH damage."The thing is that, it is actually not about the DAMAGE. There are many builds which can deal increadible amount damage. It is just too rewarding compared to a "brain-dead build."To give an example; I am having trouble with Weavers, actually I am trying to avoid PvP with them. And I do not mind if I lose against a Weaver. Because mastering a Weaver is not easy. They switch attunements, they use crazy amounts of skills and most of them require "combo field" knowledge. They earn this victory.So, what about Trapper DH build? Setting 2 traps and spamming Sword of Justice? It should be very exhausting to play. Also "trigger the traps without taking any damage" tips are so lame.

If you guys did not mention, nobody would think that traps could be triggered with dodging etc.Also, to disprove this thread, one of you just called me out for a challange to duel with his "Power Guardian." Trying to beat a class with the same class should be joke.And the thing you guys do not understand is, everything you say that sounds good but only on paper. During an active combat, if a Guardian suddenly sets a trap, no one could just "OH LET ME TRIGGER THIS TRAP WITHOUT ANY HARM." Guardian does not have 2 seconds casting time, you cannot just interrupt and even you had a chance you could not because of infinite blocks.Walking straight and pressing buttons are just what Guardians doing right now, lets say "most" of them.

  13. I didnot mean to tell Mesmer is hard but Guardian is eaay. I just gave Mesmer example because it was my main. I tried to point that Guardians are easy and they can carry the game. That's all.Guardian can inflict tons of burning damage that can kill 2 3 player at the same time. In addition to this, guardian skills have low CD, low casting time, can be casted from mid range, has enough area to hit whole enemy team and some of nuke skills can be spammed 3 or 4 times in a row.
  14. Being sarcastic does not change the fact. If you are trying to compare; the "playtime" statistics show that Guardians have 79,414,593 hours playtime and Mesmer 55,679,456 hours.

Hi fellas, I know there are plently of QQ reviews about Guardians but I just wanted to share mine as well and I am going to keep it really short; I've mained Mesmer, to be honest, I do not have any problem with dealing a Guardian. If I take right actions like dodging skills or using right skills in right time etc. I can take down any class. I believe that mastering any class and playing it is the right the key. But, the thing i want to mention is that the attention you have to pay.For example; as a Mesmer, I have to calculate every move. I cannot use my skills randomly, I need to use them in a correct situation. To success, I have to play smart.And about Guardian; I just started to play with Guardian a few days ago. I just checked a meta build and never watched a single PvP guide. What I do is just laying down whatever trap I, and spaming F2 F3 and Sword 5 when I am low. I don't even select a target, I just push the buttons and try to survive while laying traps around. I have more win ratio than any other class now.I am not trying to tell that Guardian's damage should be nerfed, I just wanted to point that Guardians shouldn't be a class that is really easy to play.
