@Xenesis.6389 - Just quoting some of the post. (hopefully this looks readable) Ahh, ok. Was the use of glicko based around a victory point system? I've only really gotten into the WvW mode not too long ago, quickly became my only mode, but unsure of how they used to match everyone up. I have consistently read that the glicko system was abandoned for good reasons, though. This is where I've probably misunderstood the population differences within each tier, as when looking at the Victory Points, and how often a server cleaned up in the skirmish, it got me thinking if it would be good to match those with similar points. Out of interest, at the start of re-links on Fridays, I would make a note of each server position and points. Curiosity got me noting the Warscores down as well. The servers with similar points would indeed eventually, mostly end up nearby, but the shake up could get them there faster at least. Instead of taking a whole month or so for them to get there. Seeing unlinked servers being placed in Tier 1 at the beginning of a re-link, for example, and knowing its destination. Destroyed all the way down. A shake up, could offer some breathing room and a chance at a better play experience, maybe. @Dawdler.8521 - I guess the thought/fantasy for me is born out of wanting each server to be placed where they can all have fun, wherever they are. Getting to experience no-go matchups on either sides just got me wondering. After the restructuring and when alliances get put in place, hopefully some of this stuff mostly is resolved. Definitely looking forward to when they factor in time zones as well.

First things first, I realise this is a beta week, after alliances this all wont matter I guess . That aside, I do notice the wild and rampant Victory Point difference between the servers, in all tiers, and got to thinking what if.... randomly, servers get a shake up. Servers with similar Victory/Overall Score Points will get matched with each other? You'll often see servers in Tiers 4-5 doing very well, they'll match the points of Tier 1-2 even, and it makes me wonder if matching them this way would offer some good challenges? This would be randomly, of course, like a surprise room inspection 😄
