Old achievements need a look over and a fix/adjustments to current popularity. I was doing Desolation achievements and now have Shadow Sprinter and Realm Portal Spiker left and just nope. Shadow sprinter is even more boring than the former bauble farm. Its back and forth and back and forth and back and forth and back and forth (the same paths), just without others to chat with, for about a hundred times. And Portal Spike is not doable for me within the next 10 years I give GW 2. No ppl here. I'm sure other achievements are similar dated and dead.

And so they have waited only 2 years to change something. ...

Hi The description says that, with the complete edition of GW2, one gets everything to experience the living world of Tyria. And then there's a list of the addons but the seasons are not esp mentioned. I'm confused. When I buy it, do I get everything or not? That's your experience. When I started playing everything was in German. Open world, fractals, wvw anyway.

I'm German, on a German server and WvW was the last place where I could chat in German. Apart from the fact that some players aren't well in foreign languages (see the complains on the German forum - you won't find those ppl here) there are also many that may have no problem with English in general but prefer their native language. You can't relate? I've no prob with English in chat. I have a prob with English in voice. Listening, and speaking is even worse. But WvW ist also the place in which voice chat brings a great advantage when in a squad. When my server was linked with non-DE servers, I used voice chat only for listening, never said a word, used the text chat if I had to inform my squad of something (with delay that way ofc), and I hoped that I understood everything well enough to follow orders and suggestion. Didn't always work. But worked well enough to get the stuff done. My game itself is in German too, so I often have to think what the commander, or others, mean. It's not always communicated in direct translation but whatever is common to name it on that server. Some have a site with explanations linked in their TS or Discord. But seriously who reads a FAQ before playing? I didn't play much when linked to non-DE servers. I played much more when linked to German servers. Because it is just cool and fun and natural to chat with others in your native language, even more so when they're from your country. (German speaking players include players from Austria and parts of Switzerland.) Whatever, I think it's understandable if people prefer their native languages. I already was pissed about the megaserversystem in PvE. I chose a German server, when creating my account, for a reason. I want to keep the system like it is now if any update only means disimprovements to me.

Don't remember anymore what I did as warrior, as rev (herald) I switched between dragon and dwarf stance and weapons: sword/sword. Close combat. Tried ranged first but that was too much of a hassle. I only used dragon for casting all the buffs and ending them right after and then back to dwarf (stronger healing skill) for Vengeful Hammers. If they ran out, back to dragon and so on. Evaded the skills with circle on the bottom and ate the direct hits. My rev has power, toughness, vitality stats; not the big damage dealer. Managed first try without big troubles.

So it seems they're still useless, once you've bought the knick-knacks the vendor offers. Have to waste 2,5k of them too now.

Which seasons will be free? All? It reads as if only some episodes of s2 and 3 will be featured and what is with the rest?

Even 1,5 years later this was a pain in the ass, but thanks to the tips here, I switched from Human to Charr and scrolled to first-person perspective and made it.Before, I tried it for 3 days with my useless Human. Was the last achievement I needed.

I installed it yesterday and I love the exploration help, it's amazing. Esp. with the different colors and paths. Esp. for the mastery points. Did Crystal Oasis and the mastery point at Glint's Legacy is imo too hard your way. One has to use the springer to jump onto a tiny ledge at a little over max. height. My springer appeared to jump 1-2 meter too short. Next is the danger when you fall down, you fall into 2-3 mobs +canon. I gave it up after 10 tries and did it that way: also with springer - was easier, safer and faster. Got it first try. Maybe consider it.
