  1. Please bring back the awakened mounts package, they're the most beautiful mount skin pack <3
  2. I watched your videos before, I found the quad healing combo quite difficult to pull off! Also, that sword weaver trailblazer is very durable is nice, but it still doesn't do anything against bosses that can't be damaged from melee :/ I did manage to solo the chak challenge in your video with scepter weaver with little difficulty, though.Do other heals than signet offer better survivability? I saw lord Hizen used the glyph heal in his solo weaver videos.
  3. I was thinking of trying marshal stats, do you have any experience with it? I don't really have an idea of a build, I'm just looking for anything functional. I love how active weaver is, but as a necro/mes main, it's been a challenge to make it anywhere near durable as the other two light classes with comparable damage. As far as I know, there's no cheese rune that works on ele like it does on mes/necro (tormenting; not that necro even needs it), is there? I tried vampirism, but that obviously doesn't work against bosses.
  4. Why the sword vitality talent without wielding a sword? Also, no healing power? It seems pretty strong on ele in terms of sustain.
  5. Hey, I really like playing weaver, and I quite like sword, but being locked into melee range without a weapon swap is very obnoxious at times (bounties, bosses, anything slightly more challenging). I've played tempest too and I know it has scepter/staff builds, but I specifically enjoy the double elements of weaver. Are there any weapons that can deal moderate amounts of damage, comparable to sword? I'm mainly an open world pve player so it doesn't need to be anything terribly meta. I tried scepter/x with my condi build and it stacked burning nicely, but I wonder if anyone has experience with power scepter on weaver or power staff.
  6. Condi meta is unfun to play as/against, everything happens too fast with elite specs, with all the visual clutter you can't even see what people are casting anymore. legacy pvp mode without elite specs pls. also make trebuchet at kyhlo manual target again :(
  7. Well, I made the suggestion for anet to see, some folks agreed, that's really all I wanted from this. I would like it, think it would be cool and would buy it. Unless you're an anet employee, you really can't tell whether they will or will not introduce it and how much it would affect their revenue. I have to say some folks are strangely adamant about opposing QoL gimmicks. I hope anet will consider this item/idea!
  8. I don't see how this item would be obsolete when people who don't change that often would still buy them in smaller packets/farm them. Like I'm not asking them to introduce a transmutation pass that makes transmuting free forever that costs half the price of the 5 transmutations packet, lol. Not everybody however needs a 1000 gems transmutation pass that lasts a month for example. Like, I'm asking for a convenience thing here, same as infinite gathering tools/copper salvager/lounge passes. They already did this before by introducing the permanent hairstylist contract.I don't want to farm cosmetic stuff, and I certainly don't want to stress over it. I'd rather spend money to skip the tedium and focus on the fun parts of the game. I think that's a pretty basic concept in every online game these days.
  9. They can be farmed and bought with statuettes, I doubt a whole lot of people buy them from the shop. I know I don't and I always need more. As the first poster predicted, thread got charged by "play wvw/pvp" folks. I don't want to do pvp just so I can do fashion. It's not like you have to step out of wvw/pvp and do content you don't like to get dungeon skins/warclaw/blueprints.
  10. Heyo, it is my humble hope for Anet to add something akin to a Transmutation Pass, i.e. an item that, once purchased, unlocks unlimited transmuting on a character for a certain time. Juggling transmutation charges is my singular source of anxiety and stress in this game - I just want to be able to wardrobe freely, match with my friends for dungeons or whatever strikes my fancy that moment. Fashion is one of the most fun things for me and it being so limited in Guild Wars, which is a visually awesome game, just makes me sad. I'd honestly rather pay for a gemstore pass than manage transmutation charges in their current state. I know they can be farmed, but it's tedious and I'd rather spend that time actually playing the game. Every other big MMO lets you fashion to your heart's content, so why not Guild Wars?
  11. Thanks, that's informative. If survivability is an issue, why not roll full shaman? Is "getting caught out alone" a thing in raids?
  12. People say that direct power attacks are a miniscule percentage of condi damage builds - that it makes up roughly 15% of condi builds' damage. Isn't the major power wasted with Marshal pieces then? If you're going for extra damage, why not Seraph with precision+condi as major or Plaguedoctor with condi major?
  13. Any ideas for gryphon? It's my favorite :D
  14. Hello again! Mounts are my favourite thing in this game, I find them so fun to use. Unfortunately, I want to play a Charr and they look kinda dumb on them because the mounts are too small. Are there any mount skins that make the mounts look bigger and fit the Charr better?
  15. Did the Mistborn adoption license just cycle out? I wanted to nab the Speckled Shortfang :( Also would love Istani license back for the Raccoon Gryphon
  16. If you have it the wedding outfit is good for this, especially on sylvari and norn females. (The wedding outfit changes completely based on the race of the character.) Thank you so much for the list!! I will work through it tomorrow :D I do have the wedding dress. The Sylvari version has no metallic parts so I can't test stuff on it but I think the Norn one does? I can see how that could be gooooood
  17. I had to buy this one right away :D Good that it was cheap it's so fun
  18. thank you :D some returning licenses are cycling right now so i can hope
  19. Oh that dye is beautiful!!!!! What birthday gift is it in? I need it :D Sand Shark is part of the 6th birthday gift. Good luck! Oh no I seem to have misplaced the dye kit somewhere. I was saving it and then put it somewhere for later and now I can't find it. Nevermind, I think I get another in February :D Thank u tho Do you use gw2efficiency? That way you can search for an item on your account and figure out if a character has it in his/her inventory, or if it's in your bank, etc. A great site, and free.i do but some characters just don't show up on there for me, their equip/inventory is blank. it's fine though, it'll turn up someday :D
  20. For OW mesmer, might want to look at staff condi Mirage. It's fun and easy, and strong for soloing. Doesn't provide much support, though, unlike chrono: -- Oh wow I had no idea staff was viable!!! Can you explain the gist of the build to me? The video is very fast and I have trouble catching the rotation or which F skills he uses there. Hizen responded to that kind of question in the Youtube comments with this: So, the idea is to keep a constant supply of clones in the pipeline ready for shattering. You can create clones directly with Staff2 and with dodges (Deceptive Evasion trait), and then shatter them (preferably when you have 3 clones). But you can also create two phantasms w/Staff3, which after several seconds (i.e., when Staff3 CD timer reaches 10) then those two phantasms become clones, and if you then dodge to create a 3rd clone, you can now shatter those 3. Swap staffs as needed to get back energy for dodging (Energy sigils) and repeat. What you want to avoid is wasting the conversion of the two phantasms to clones by having shattered prior to the 10 sec CD timer point, or having at most one clone at that point. In my variant, I swapped out the mantra utilities for Phantasmal Defender and Signet of Illusions. The former gives me another phantasm which also draws aggro (but also now another phantasm CD timer to monitor), and the latter another source of clone generation (one every 10 sec.). It seems like a lot to manage, and if you are hoping for ideal timing and max clone shatters/min. then it would be; but realistically, if you shatter occasionally with 2 instead of 3, or you waste a clone here or there, its no big deal in most cases. Think of clones as ammo or weapon strikes, and just as we often don't perform an ideal weapon skill rotation or use ammo skills perfectly they still work good enough to get the job done. It's actually pretty fluid once you get the hang of it. So, the main things are to not seek absolute perfection in your clone generation and shattering, and to fight the urge to be the damage dealer - instead, you should be evasive and let your clones/phantasms get the aggro and do the damage. Oh, and to be clear - when I say 'dodge', it's really more of an evade, thanks to Mirage Cloak trait. I don't know if I understand it fully with the shatters, you shatter 3 with F1 and then the next 3 with F2? I do, but you could also F1, and then keep the next 3 alive until F1 is off CD again, then use F1, and repeat. I honestly don't know the 'ideal' method.oki thank you :D i can do that
  21. Hello there, I discovered that you can buy a raccoon gryphon skin and it is the cutest. I think it's in the Istani adoption licence? How often do those licences cycle back into the shop?

  23. I know I can preview them but sometimes while preview them I preview them on bad materials or bad outfits and I end up skipping it when it's actually a good dye. I don't have most blues in the game by virtue of this because I just always preview it on wrong stuff. I never knew Sand Shark had a gradient
  24. sorry for derailing a little but what is "healbreaker"? can you play this healing warrior in pve too? it sounds nice
