This isn't just you. It's actually amazing how quickly this issue has popped up on Reddit, Twitter, here, etc. Go to any of the GW2 forums and people have been complaining about it since just about when I got disconnected myself. There's definitely an issue. I was creating a new character (just coming back, wanted to start over), and got booted. Then I couldn't log back in. I looked around, and this is all of NA and EU, it seems. Just give it some time.
