No I want my 7 legendary runes that I worked my kitten off to craft. Make the relics a option like gems or that other crap everyone vendors or throws in mystic toilet.

Not to mention all the time , gold , daily items I used! I been playing this game 8 years and this really makes me want to quit GW2,

Guess it takes time to figure out the right way to say , we are screwing you over and not keeping our word. Im really getting to the point I do not care anymore. I have been playing another MMO (and having a blast) I havent logged into GW2 for over a week now. Maybe after 8 years its time to move on anyway esp if this is the kind of crap they want to pull now.

Im not demanding any kitten thing I didnt ask for a relic I dont want a relic I just want to be able to use what I crafted and worked for plain and simple.

I spent over a year ... A YEAR ...farming mats , tokens, clovers and gold to craft all 7 runes and now Im suppose to roll over and take it up Lions Arch and say ohhhh its ok its no big deal. Well it is a BIG DEAL to me. . I dont give 2 shits if the relics are better or not, thats not the point at all. I wouldnt care if the relics gave me +100 to all my stats plus alac ,superspeed, quickness and a fuzzy bunny pet that can solo champions by itself. I crafted 7 runes to use in game with the TRUST that the developers would not one day say oh were are gonna change the use of those. The time, gold and work you did on them is not worth us caring about. GW2 needs to be honorable and keep their word that this kind of thing would never happen to any of our gear. OH and I did not stutter so I dont know WTF you are confused about!

Yeah Im only logging into do my three dailys as of now. Im not spending another penny on GW2 till we get a answer on this issue. I have started playing another MMO In case I decide to leave GW2 over this clusterfook of a idea. Hate to throw away 8 years of playing GW2 but you got to draw the line somewhere. The whole point of GW2's philosophy is that your gear doesn't get invalidated by expansions. Thats the point . Does not matter if it makes it better or not. If they want to make it as a option I have no problem with that. I spent over a year crafting all 7 runes I should be able to use all 7 runes if I want too. Dont come up out of the blue and say ...oh yeah 2 of your leggies is useless now ....sorry. Please buy our next expansion.

Surprise... still no answer on this topic! Like poster said above my money and time will not be wasted on this game anymore till this kitten is resolved. I have been looking for other MMOs to call my new home for the next few years if Arena Net goes through with this debacle and I decide to move on.

Ground targeting on that skill feels clunky AF now

I never pre order games , I got burned once. Im gonna wait to see if Arena Net goes back on its promise about Leggie and Ascended gear never being made outdated, obsolete or bettered. If the nerf my leggie runes that I grinded for over year for I will quit. Ill never be able to trust what they say ever again.

IF I sold a product that needed a certain tool and said " This tool will always work with this product and never become outdated." A few years later come along and say yeah that tool well its useless now sorry so your gonna have to buy a new one now and not EXPECT people to be upset well then who is lying now?

Yeah and that answer was CRAP. Oh we didnt realize this would upset people because well we just did not think of it sorry DUHHHHHH. Give us time to throw some chit against the wall and see what sticks. I mean if devs are this short sighted over such a big issue this will cause to veteran players well they are just plain ignorant. Does not give me a lot of confidence in the future development of GW2.

I have been playing this game for almost 8 years. I have overlooked many changes. A lot of things I collected or mastered have become obsolete or useless. Or simply just given away to new players. I am sitting on tons of Hero Points and masteries from other expansions that will never be used. Every now and then I have to rebuild a toon or just park them because of "balance" patches. Its pretty frustrating when you have a toon all tweaked to perfection as you like it then its pretty much turned to a garbage build in a blink of a eye. Sometimes its even a challenge to come up with a work around after some of the bone head decisions made by devs. This change though is the biggest bone head decision yet. We were PROMISED top gear that we would grind would never become obsolete. Looks like to me Arena Net is breaking their word. I did not grind 7 runes for almost a year for chits and giggles. How can I trust that you will not do this again to other things I have invested many hours of time and currency in? I spend on average 10 dollars a week on gems but on occasion I spend much more ( More than I should on a online game). Over the period of 8 years it adds up. I am semi retired now and within a few years I will be fully retired early and will have even more time and money to invest in the right MMO . I thought Guild Wars 2 was the game but maybe I have been mistaken. If this is the direction the game is headed for. All the gem store fluff is not worth a thing to me if the game is not fun or aggravating to deal with. The game is becoming more of the latter part recently. If you do not want my business anymore just keep going down this path and I will gladly take it elsewhere.

Vindi is my favorite class . I have both power and condi toons . The short bow is a really decent option for tagging bosses and such. Better than that crappy hammer. GS Renegade was ok but with the dodge/endurance handicap keeps it from being a great weapon option. Plus I run Condi Renegade although I did try it on a power build. Shield I never use so I didnt even bother with it. Shields in general in GW2 is pretty useless esp. with the long cool downs they have,

I tried out Staff on Deadeye ( with quickness traited) its a dps machine .

I reaaaalllllllllllllllllly like the off hand torch on my Condi Harb, its the best weapon I have tested so far in the Beta. Being that I like it so much Im sure it will get nerfed.
