Update: I just finished w1 zone 1 tribulation mode to see if it would trigger the achievement and it did. I already sent a bug report so i guess the problem is solved

It's not a bug. You must have done it in Infantile Mode before, and that Mode doesn't count for these types of Achievements. You need to do them at least in Normal Mode, which you access via the villager in the middle (between both clouds).

I did it in on two accounts, and it counted as intended.

I just finished world 1 on normal and tribulation mode, and my God! What has happened? Frequent character run speed slowdown, slow jump, missing ledges, and King Toad is almost impossible to get with the crystal while his mouth is open. Plus, when you do finally kill him the killbox in front of his mouth activates immediately?

I finished World 1 yesterday and experienced none of the above issues.

Perhaps there was something wrong with your internet connection?

I partially completed two of the renown hearts in New Kaineng City yesterday. I have to start from 0% today. I don't think that's supposed to happen.

The tengu Heart that I did in fact fully complete yesterday doesn't even show up on the map anymore.

Hearts since Living World Season 3 are repeatable daily, therefore resetting daily:

I think it might be the areas from the Charr Homelands from old GW1 that have no GW2 map yet.

Grothmar Wardowns and Old Ascalon, definitely. After the Charr clichés in the IBS, though, I hope it won't be Charr-themed again. 😉

I hope it's Ascalon. I'd love if the next mini expansion would be about the human-charr conflict, finally establishing a satisfactory resolution for both sides, not just a ceasefire and specially since the dragons are all dead now. I hope we get to see the end of the foefire curse and human Ascalonians returning to Ascalon in new maps, maybe even get to fight the legion of flames.

Oooh, that would actually be interesting! 👍

Gw2 can still be played and we can still expect updates! Just nothing as major as the first three expansions we got being released at one time.

Exactly. The game will clearly never have proper content drops again, if ANet's focus is on developing GW3. That was my point. I am not going to continue to play GW2 when it has the impertinence to sell stuff like SotO Update 1 as a "major update". Sorry. That's just wasting my time. And all the great old content I have already played through on a minimum of 9 (and a maximum of 13) characters, so that's more than enough and not very exciting to repeat.

anet was working on a game that time besides gw2 and it was said that ibs is the future way they want go.

That was before the IBS (during Season 4) and had nothing to do with suddenly cutting the IBS short halfway through the Season.

Not a google translation. Bilingual players have confirmed it’s correct.

Well, then there really is no more reason to keep playing GW2, because this means it no longer has the proper resources dedicated to it to be a satisfying game.

Let's hope they will show more longterm-dedication to GW3 than to its prequels. I don't find it very desireable to start a new online multiplayer RPG every 5-10 years. I also hope a new GW game will meet my criteria, but who knows? I might be playing something else by then.

i have no idea why people try talking this away, we have devs who got job offers confirm that anet already work on gw3 for years

We don't know it's GW3 until it is officially confirmed. And some so-so Google translation of hearsay is no real confirmation, is it?

we have a extrem drop in quality as we had with icebrood saga when they worked on a new game.

They cut the IBS short in favor of the next expansion, End of Dragons, not because they were working on a different game. Please get your facts straight.

The future is on the horizon, and potentially we could get an entire new guild wars game!

Hopefully one of better quality than the current state of GW2, which is boring, repetitive and disappointing in many ways.

[...] which again makes GW3 unlikely.

I really don't care if they are planning on doing GW3 or not, and I also agree that I won't believe it until they release an official statement.

I am close to quitting GW2 for good, not because of a GW3 announcement but because of the fact that the game is no longer releasing good content. It had about 4-5 great years (2015-2019), and I have my doubts that GW3 would be any better.

I, for one, won't buy it unless

    • they hire new writers,
    • they have the proper amount of resources to maintain a high-quality game standard,
    • the game doesn't replace actual content with grind activities,
    • the game takes place before the events of GW1,
    • the game has GW1's dual-class (and skill) system,
    • the game has a classy fantasy art style,
    • the game has GW2's excellent movement and character animation system (including mounts),
    • the game has a better character creator than GW2 (where you can create heroines that don't look like Barbie dolls),
    • the game excludes any furry/anime-lover designs,
    • the game is not pay-to-win.

aside from the fact its not been confirmed that GW3 will be made, it will be highly probably that GW3 is a MMORPG . [...]

Well, it could turn out to be an MMORPG with ugly modern designs such as we have seen in jade-tech and in all the "Hello Kitty"/plush kitsch, which doesn't warrant that people will actually like the game, in spite of a newer engine.

Well, they are half way done.  🙂

You are right though, I forgot it was every quarter instead of every week.  Still, I stand by my statement that it has never been easier to get ascended gear.

You need 6 pieces of armor (7 if you count the aquatic head gear) and 2-4 weapons per build (4-6 if you count the underwater weapons).

But yes, it's a major help to have another method of acquisition added to the game. 👍
