  1. Nah, the reason is that DirectX 11 can more efficiently load up your CPU. Even without a lot of changes on ANet's side, the DirectX 11 drivers from both main vendors tend to be better threaded and much more optimized, so you benefit from years of software engineering "for free". That'll increase CPU load (because more threads) but also improve frame rate. GPU utilization fluctuating around 5% is honestly probably just noise.
  2. I'm sorry, but there is no way you can run GW2 at near max settings on the machine you claim to have, and furthermore there is no GTX260 with 4GB of VRAM, so I have doubts you accurately know what your machine even is (there is no 200 series card with 4GB of VRAM). And having DirectX 12 is meaningless, the feature level is what actually matters.
  3. Less than 3% of the Steam Hardware Survey respondents use a DirectX 10 or lower class GPU. Even the strongest DirectX 10 GPU will struggle to run this game at low settings. You have to go dig into the archaeology section on Facebook Marketplace or eBay to find DirectX 10 class GPUs. This post stems from a staggering amount of ignorance regarding the state of the graphics API landscape in 2023.
  4. Kinda crazy there's stores across Europe and South America running sales, but the foreign country closest to their office doesn't even get so much as a "sorry".
  5. I am 1000% in favor of this kind of upgrade of MumbleLink, especially the mounted/mount_type and in_map data (for obvious reasons).
