Is now Druid better condition build than Soulbeast? Now in Celestial form you can really spam some hard conditions, while also accidentally healing and cleansing conditions. I tried Druid and Soulbeast with full viper gear and Druid plays so much better 🤔 Has anyone tried to compare those two with a condi gear? What are your thoughts?

So, I want to use the new lvl 80 booster, mainly for getting free whole set of celestial armor, trinkets and weapon sets. But I can't decide which profession to create. I already have all professions with my many characters, so it's not about which profession to play, because I already have all of them, it's about which profession would benefit the most from full celestial gear? I don't care if I have the duplicate of the same profession, I just want to play one built around celestial gear. Thanks for your opinions!

Actually, Ranger does not stand for someone who is using a ranged weapons, but for one who is a keeper, or guardian of the forest.

Hello, me and my girlfriend are currently grinding map currencies for the last stage of Skyscale collection. I play since the beginning of GW2 so I have accumulated huge amounts of karma, but she just started a year or two ago and she already spent everything she got (we are both really casual players and play few hours a week). We need karma to buy map currencies, so I was wondering if anyone can suggest which meta events are best for karma "farming", taking into consideration time invested, fun and karma gain-ratio? Or if there are even more efficient ways to gain more karma with less grinding? Thanks! J.

Thanks for all the good points you listed. I use the Condi Soulbeast build only for Open World & Fractals, and maaaaaybe somewhere in the future I will try Raids. I have separate Celestial set for WvW roaming. I noticed that bleeding is so easy to achieve on ranger, but I wanted to focus on short bow and double daggers, because I enjoy this set much better and I wanted to try different skill rotation with short bow 2, dagger 1, 2, 4, Vulture Stance and with Viper's Nest trap (so, all the poison skills rotation). I'm definitely not playing this glass viper gear build in WvW, and PvP is really not my cup of tea. I also noticed that even if I focus on poison skills rotation, I still do a ton of bleeding stacks, so I ended up not with strictly poison build but poison/bleeding build 😁

The choice was mostly with (Thorns or Krait) and weapon choice (SB & D/D or Axes). I have viper gear but I can't constantly change runes (I use exotic armor, not legendary) so the dilemma was there. Second difference is in the trait line (Wilderness Survival or Beast Mastery) - this I can change anytime so that was not so much of an issue. With current Setup I have 100% poison duration and around 80% bleeding duration without any food or utility.

Hi, I didn't know if I should open a new topic for this, but I have another question regarding Druid, or more precisely Celestial gear. So, I have acquired celestial gear set and I would ask for some suggestions on which runes to pick. This gear will be used for my Druid build, which will be played in open world, low tier fractals and WvW, so I need kind of runes that would work ok in all of those game modes. I'm not looking for min/max build, just for something fun. I was thinking about trapper runes for wvw trapper build, but maybe I should choose something with healing power and boon duration? Although this stats would probably be wasted in open world and wvw? Maybe Traveler runes for some extra multi stats and boon duration? I want to be flexible for all the three game modes, but again, this is for more casual, low tier play. Thank you for any suggestions.

Has anyone tried more bleed/traps focused Druid or Druid with glyphs instead of spirits for Fractals? I know that you loose alacrity and some boons, but maybe you can focus more on condi damage and bleeding with some healing instead of just no damage and full healing with boons. This is just a thought, I never tried that in Fractals, just in WvW where such build exist. Anyway, thanks for all the replies. I will definitely experiment and gradually build my Druid, but I want it just for fun. I will stick with my other builds for more serious gameplay 😁

I don't know if I will ever play any Raids. But I would definitely use the same druid also for open world support and for WvW. Would in that case Celestial be better, for cross game mode use? I saw that for WvW the suggested stats are Trailblazer. I guess Celestial is also viable?

What about Druid build with more condi gear and less heal gear? Could that work for Fractals or is just not worth the try? Maybe plaguedoctor or something like that?

Hello, I was looking for druid builds for instanced content on various gw2-builds pages, and I noticed that Druid builds are only used in Raids and not in Fractals. Can more experienced players explain why is that? Is for Fractals better to play just dps build and no need for healer? Besides Condi Ranger that I play now, I want to make also Power build and a Druid, so I was just wondering how would Druid work in Fractals. Kind regards, J.
