  1. I'm not exactly sure why these changes will be good or why they are necessary, tbh.
  2. Can we just revert to the old functionality? or maybe have a game option/toggle that lets those who like it use it, and otherwise just have the previous system, with automatically stored builds per game mode? Also after 7 pages of criticism it would be nice to hear from Anet.
  3. This, a hundred times. Plus the money grab factor. Whoever plays more than one game mode - previously all game modes had a build stored automatically and for free. Now, if I see it correctly, all but the PvE builds were actually LOST, and in order to recreate them, one would have to use 3 builds per character. This is anti QoL and money grab, I cannot say it nicer. Please reconsider (and hire a group of UX designers).
  4. The way build templates are implemented is super convoluted and overcomplicated, confusing to say the least (look at those sub-builds called 'Template 1-2-3' under the account slot - this is just a mess) Guild Wars 1 had this perfectly, without any complication at all, you could have just re-implemented it. Although I see one reason it was done this way: to create and enforce artificial limits so that people will pay for more template slots - and this makes me really sad.
  5. I expect this to lead to toxicity and fight over remaining alliance slots, preventing people from staying with their friends if they play more casually. I'd think current communities would want to try and stay together, even if some of them does not play every day. But with these caps implemented, less active people would be dropped out from their previous communities, leading to even more elitism ("casuals go to a casual alliance", "100 gold for an alliance slot" etc). Please, think this through a little bit more. Thanks.
