  1. This is a legitimate pain point i have of the game. My account is 11 years old, but my oldest character, my warrior Alix Steelheart, is only 7 years old because i deleted my characters before her not knowing about birthdays and the gifts they had. The Feast of Delectable Birthday Cake is account bound and my account is eligible for it, but because my oldest character isn't I am missing out. It's part of the reason I don't use my commander tag for the most part. I could use ascended feasts but i'm dipping into my guild storage for those and i'd rather keep those for guild events if i decided to build my guild up. I implore you guys to look into making the main gift of each birthday for account age and have character birthdays for the boosters, dyes, and other smaller things. So how I would break this down is as follows.   2. This happens every update. RadialMountMenu is broken. I can't get to the github to download a fixed dll file to fix the issue because that site is currently not working. Please just build this feature into the game in a future patch. Would also like one for the mastery skills like jade bot waypoint, fishing and summon skiff, but mounts are the most important seeing you have to swap between them to fully utilize them.

Oh no what ever will we do? not like I get a silver or two from mining 1 ore from orri node. or get 5 silver from a random kill because that bandit's pockets were looking kind of heavy when I bashed his skull in with my hammer. Your logic is flawed in game design. Inflation is bad but you know what the main cause of it is? Kills from monster that grant coin drops, not getting an alternative currency to spend on another currency to then get a thing that you can sell on the trading post in which it will incur a listing fee and a selling fee. I get more from the kill then I do from the scavenger and recycler combined anyways.
  4. May I ask how much would you profit from having both a scavenger and a jade sliver recycler over just a scavenger? 12 copper. Also how many useful things are in the service chip slot for anything? I'd argue zero. I don't even use the slot, mine is empty because the chips are trash.
  5. I don't personally like AFK gameplay. I find it boring AF. I will admit I did want to attempt it, because I need karma for the home instance upgrades from LWS5, but before I did someone in Mukluk's discord told me it was against the terms of service. I didn't believe it because it's not in the ToS that Anet linked to at the time (NCSoft's ToS) but then they sent the Anet support page where it's hidden away and not easily noticable. So then I decided to not to even attempt it myself.
  6. That's not my problem that's A-net's problem with not enforcing THEIR OWN terms of service. If they don't allow it then why not build a timer into the game where if you don't move for 2 minutes even if under attack in open world maps it downs your character. Maybe the more you stay in complete downstate the more expensive the next teleport costs is and does not go away or is reduced if a player revives you. So you actively lose money when you notice and decide to respawn. The problem is Anet does nothing to make afk farming harder or even have a reporting option in game for rule breaking or exploiting the game. So why should game design suffer because of "making more profit from something they should have a system in place to discourage from doing, or BAN and PERMANENTLY BAN accounts that break the rules of the game." That is a moderation problem not a game design problem.
  7. okay so the universal slot is a nice idea. I agree with that. Add another mastery to jade bot, and maybe force it to require tier 10 power core. Lore reasoning, an experimental jade brotherhood attachment that gives a unviersal slot. However being such a hack knee job by the brotherhood it uses more way more power than any other slot. I'm surprised we haven't seen more masteries since the launch of EoD, and since they finished LWS1 reboot. Living world season 3, 4 and Icebrood saga are my favorite updates after expansions because they added a mastery almost every episode. If this is how expansions are going to be moving forward I'm not sure I want to take part in it For half the maps, half the strikes, half the masteries, no more elite specializations (only new combat features what ever those will be). However you get 4 updates which includes 1 new map, one fractal an expansion, and from what it's feeling like no new masteries added to the system. Even if it's to existing masteries trees introduced in that expansion. The price of an expansion better be $25 at most otherwise it's a rip off. You are getting half the content ($15) at launch and about half the updates or about 600 gems so well add $10 for an 800 gem pack.
  8. May I ask why recycler chips are in the sensor category? To never be picked because scavenger protocol chips are just so much better in terms of profit. Why do we have to make that choice between these things. As an example Mount energy booster sensor chip increases the regen rate of the skiff's boost, but the skiff also has a speed boost service chip. So you can have the best of both worlds if that's what you want. My honest to Kormir suggestion is keep scavenger protocol in sensor chips it makes sense there. But recycling is a service in the real world, and mechanically speaking having to pick between good sensor chip and a bad sensor chip is kind of bad game design imo. People should have a bit more flexibility with the jade bot imo. I thought about just removing the catagories all together and just say you can pick 2 chips and can be put in any slot and they would both work, however i feel that would be too much and could see scavenger protocols be even more used than they already are. So I'd say move recyclers to service chips, and If people want to maximize their profit gain from jade bot let them. By using both scavengers and recyclers so that their kills are more rewarding and converting junk from nodes fishing and kills, or maybe they want to do any other combination of things to benefit their gameplay of choice. Like mount booster plus recycler for fishing, or the aforementioned mount booster plus skiff speed booster. It gives more choice to the player, and makes a imo useless chip catagory have some more use.
  9. I just bought the boss portal device and the maguma portal devices, about a week or two ago, and I absolutely love the notifications of incoming world boss and other metas in my chat. Was Just wondering if we could see a similar function for Path Of Fire metas and End of Dragons Metas on timers. As for the Living world episodes of old, and icebrood saga, I figured because they already have portal tomes. I was thinking about putting notifications built into the tomes (Completed and not missing a page to incentivize buying all the scrolls), for map metas that are on a timer which are the following maps. lake doric domain of istan jahai bluffs thunder head peak grothmar valley bjoria marches eye of the north (dragon storm) Any time I can get quality of life like this in game and not through external add-ons or overlays is a better experience in any game. Obviously I expect these to be a gem store item, but it would be worth 400 gems like the other two imo.
  10. I deleted my spearmarshel's plea before realizing it was not re-obtainable, as a side note why is it that way? I should be able to at least reobtain it for a cost in game if anything instead of having to open a support ticket and waste their time, to potentially get no where. Important items like this that you can only obtain once per account NEEDS to have an alternative mode of obtainment because sometime noobs don't know better and they delete stuff.
  11. Honestly if you still have the script I'd love to use it myself while radial mount menu is dx11 incompatible. As per the policies on macros your example is perfectly fine. They literally in the support article say you can bind jump and dodge to a single button press. and you can use it as an auto clicker for a candy corn gobbler. You however can not have the macro do anything without human interaction, besides the auto clicker application. You must press a button to get the script to fire and it can only fire once and then need interaction again to fire off again.   12. The portable composter is essentially a salvage-o-matic for food obtained through the game and not the gem store. You don't need to use laurels unless your an open world player who doesn't do fractals due to a lack of friends and a general distaste from bad lfg groups in MMOs and would rather stay away from it. And WvW isn't a priority for you because it isn't very fun. Then Laurels are your only option. But you could have it be purchasable from the other vendors with the respective currencies.
  13. I'm kind of curious what would your guys' opinion be if A-net were to add an ascended salvage-o-matic and how do you think it should be balanced. I think it shouldn't be a gem store thing. maybe costing 250 gold + 500 laurels upfront to purchase (maybe even require the ascended recycling achievement to purchase). However the benefit is unlimited uses and a removal of the laurel cost per use but costs 80 silver per use in it's stead. (the average gain of 1 laurel if buying an heavy crafting bag and instant selling the mats is about 60 silver. take the price of 1 of each material and add them divide by 8 to get the average cost of 1 of each mat, but the bags give 3 mats so multiply by 3 to get the average cost of a bag which costs 1 laurel. So divide that in half, and the 1 gold each charge normal would cost in half and add them together for the 80 silver per use) IMO be a nice quality of life improvement, eats at a lot of coins and laurels upfront. and eats at more coins over time too. This is both kind of a suggestion for a-net to look at and a discussion on if they implemented it how it should be done.
  14. well not entirely true, there may not be enough +1 infusions but im pretty sure there are other infusions on the trading post that would cut down on that number because they were already upgraded via an artificer. I doubt there are enough infusions either way. That game is also adding more powerful weapons constantly. When has GW2 added new weapons that have more stats than other things? The only time I can think is when they added ascended gear to the game with fractals of the mists. Ever since then no other weapon or armour piece has ever been added that adds any form of power creep what so ever. There is no such thing as power creep in GW2 so a system like this would not hurt the game and make it more inersting with more build diversity than berserrkers for everything because best dps. as an aditional side idea: I also had an idea for changing condition damage slightly too as those aren't affected by your defense for boss npcs that makes sense because they have insanely higher stats than you. In PvP and WvW my friends and I have been talking because condition damage is so powerful that defense stats should be applied to conditions. It wouldn't be the same stat for the conditions either. Like we though that, vitality would reduce poison and confusion damage, and toughness would lower bleeding, torment, and burn damage. However that is a much more powerful change even though it would spark even more tanky builds It would cause more of a disruption than adding a over critical system. Also seeing there are ways to remove conditions and or negate them i didn't feel it was a good system anyways
