I have no patience for nasty trolls and lack of respect and so I block anyone who is nasty to any team member. Chat feels a lot cleaner that way.I think those nasty people are a minority, chat goes quiet fast after a few days of blocking. Blocked people also can not email you.It would be a shame to hinder all interaction by making pvp anonymous. Some aspects of GW2 (server and guild structure) already contribute to GW2 having much less interaction than I knew from games I played in the past.

so there was just a new build available but the pvp queue is still bugged. people talking about it in map chat, so it is not just me

i can confirm that

since today's patch, the unranked pvp queue appears bugged. Matches do not pop up, sometimes queuing does not work at all (it is like you never hit the button), team members get moved from pvp lobby to pve map. i did not test this for 2vs2

I am ok with people adjusting their builds, as anyone in the match can do it. There is a strategic element to it which I enjoy. Switching to completely different characters just before the match starts however, feels wrong but seemed possible last night.

couldn't agree more with the OP, well said. I do not think i will play my scourge again until this change is adjusted or reverted. Luckily I enjoy the guardian in pvp right now, otherwise I would take a longer break as well. I feel bad for scourges when fighting them.

For a few days now it is my impression that ghastly breach may be bugged. During my pvp matches, it sometimes appears to go on full cooldown without having been successfully casted. I am not sure yet if it is a visual bug or if it goes on full cooldown after having been interrupted or if it sometimes does not work. Did anyone else notice this?

Jokes are great when they're timed correctly. This was a hyped up stream that was supposed to inform players about the future of the game. I have friends leaving left, right and centre for different games because this game has no direction. This was a poorly timed joke that became a slap in the face to a desperate PvP community. It was only ever advertised by ANet as being about Living World, which has nothing to do with PvP. And there is definite comedy in only one person going "woo" when they said the words PvP and the rest of the audience being dead silent.except, the underwhelmed reaction might come from the fact that nobody is excited about a new armor set and not that nobody likes pvp

i just want to add that I would really like to see a new expansion as well, I found yesterday's announcement disappointing and overhyped. I would especially like to see new specialisations and with that weapons

considering that the pvp community has been neglected, I find that actually quite distasteful and it will feed any sense that they do not care much for pvp. And for pvp updates, honestly, a new armor set? Who cares! Would have been nice if legendary pvp armor actually looked a little bit more.. ehh legendary
