  1. it is possible to get to the rift, just not by flying from directly below it. start on the upper 'balcony' area and you should be able to fly to it. if that's not the issue, can you explain in more detail the issue you are having?
  2. also no way to trigger on-healing-skill effects when using medkit
  3. its more than just two. there are a total of 4 traits (5 after the changes) and 6 relics that trigger off healing skill.
  4. this is adding a 5th significant trait dependent on healing skill activation, which mechanists running medkit will still have no way to trigger. not to mention the relics as well.
  5. this is how it has worked from day one. however, most fish do require a fishing hole. only the most basic fish can be caught in open water. take a look at the fishing acheivements or the wiki to see which fish can be caught in open water and which need specific fishing holes.
  6. following the description of the Relic of the Monk, one would expect it to work almost the same as the old Rune of the Monk, aside from the ICD. however, this is not the case, and in its current state is a major nerf. as an example: I am on my heal mechanist and use Energizing Slam (mace 2) with only me and my mech in range. with the old Rune of the Monk, this would result in 6 stacks of the healing buff - two stacks each from me and my mech for the two boons given directly by the skill, and another stack each for the alacrity generated by Mech Frame: Channeling Conduits due to the barrier applied by the skill. given the added ICD on the relic, one might reasonably understand the alacrity generation from Channeling Conduits not being counted, resulting in 4 stacks of the healing buff rather than 6. however, at the moment this exact scenario only applies a single stack of the outgoing healing buff from the Relic of the Monk, resulting in the inability of several buids to produce reasonable stacks of this buff.
  7. its the provisioner at the bastion of strength in amnytas, not in the city like the description states
  8. sanity check. if there is lightning at the sanctuary location, that means the game does not recognise that you have completed PoF. i had a similar situation with one of my friends once, it turned out to be happening because the had not completed the epilogue instance (where your character gives a speech in amnoon and whatnot). can you double check that you have completed the epilogue? (you can see if the acheivement 'small victory (epilogue)' is completed).
  9. i know i have had issues in the past with high polling/refresh rates on my mouse, so that may be something to try messing with. internet connection would be a non-factor for any issues with the mouse, it is likely a mouse setting that the game does not agree with.
  10. the percent for upgrades is the chance that it rolls the salvage rewards for that upgrade (rather than just deleting it). for example, with the silver-fed, salvaging armor with a rune has an 80% chance to give the items you would get from salvaging the rune individually, on top of the items from the armor, and 20% to give just salvage rewards from the armor and delete the rune altogether. whereas with a runecrafter's kit (100%), you always get the items from salvaging the rune (meaning you always get at least one lucent mote).
  11. it is 100% a bug, its supposed to be possible with just raptor (skyscale is the only thing that can complete it in this bugged state and it didnt exist at the time this was released). that said, it is not actually required to unlock skyscale. for skyscale you only need to have unlocked each LW4 zone, unlocked suns refuge (which you already have if you made it to this instance) and completed the story for the last zone (dragonfall).
  12. for now, if anyone can find a friend with a skyscale (and related masteries), as long as you have already reached the mid-instance checkpoint at the start of the escape, you can have said friend host the replay of the escape and complete the final section on skyscale to bypass the bug by accepting shared credit.
  13. for any online at the moment, i am hosting instances to bypass the bug for people in the living world section of LFG (NA Region)
  14. you can also have steam launch the game with the command line argument '-provider Portal' to launch it into the non-steam login (this should let you use steam overlay iirc), but keep in mind that you still would not be able to make purchases through steam for your old account.
  15. Yeah, projectile finishers are wacky with mortar kit, the way projectile finishers work is that the projectile itself has to hit an enemy, and due to how mortar kit functions, its shots usually dont. Also, to clear up what seems to be a bit of confusion, leap finishers do not AoE heal with water fields, they only heal you. Additionally, regen from projectile finishers is only applied in a tiny (120) radius to a single ally. Bearing these mechanics in mind, I was able to trigger the effects consistently on the mortar kit water field. The issue is not with the water field itself, simply the interaction of the core combo system mechanics and the function of the mortar kit projectile.
  16. The fractal potions are themselves a stat conversion (X% agony -> concentration in the relevant case), so assuming the mech stats work like other stat conversion traits, them not affecting the mech's stats would seem to be intended functionality. As for if the ramifications of that were intended balance-wise, only the devs can say. I can say, as someone who has a (raid) heal mech build, that the change to my mech's BD on that build is near zero (actually has a few percent more than my character now). It may be that when they did the patch they ran the numbers for heal alac, but didnt consider the effect it might have on the dps alac variants.
  17. did some quick testing and it seems to inherit stats from food but not utilities, which is exactly what happens with the other stat conversions for the mech. for runes it appears to inherit flat stats from rune bonuses but not % modifiers. based on this preliminary testing, it appears that the mech stats are calculated in the same way as other stat conversions such as utilities and traits like Blast Shield and Kinetic Accelerators. thus, at least to me, it would seem that this behavior is intentional. the wiki has a nice page about what works and doesnt work for stat conversions if people want to do some more testing around this theory: Gain X Based on Y
  18. this is normal, and happens with other skills with multiple states, such as necro minions/ranger spirits/engi turrets and kits (for the ones that work underwater). you need to have the same skill in the same slot in order for it to keep charges/keep minions alive/keep the same state.
  19. perhaps this behavior should be determined by the "melee attack assist" option, as it is in line with what that option attempts to do. whatever the case, the current implementation has significant anti-synergy with many builds that commonly use burning speed, as it is now unable to hit your target with the generated fire field for persisting flames procs and additional burning. yes you could untarget and retarget, but that can be clunky in a fast paced rotation like many raid builds, and is not possible at all if you have autotarget enabled.
  20. did you happen to skip the epilogue by chance? the prerequisite is the achievement, "heart to heart", which is awarded after the primary dialogue in the epilogue instance is over.
  21. sure! also, the story step after "Chaos Theory", "Legacy", is the one that unlocks sun's refuge.
  22. you need to get about halfway through "A Star to Guide Us" before sun's refuge becomes available. if you want id be more than happy to help out and speed that part up. 🙂
  23. @Mao Noel.8793 when you say you have all content for LW season 4, do you mean that you have completed all the story for each zone, or just that you have purchased all the chapters?
