  1. Play power reaper, even the raid build, you will solo pretty much anything and you will not have to swap builds for bosses at the end of metas. You will also nuke all OW mobs so your map completion will be even quicker.
  2. I can understand not being happy with how they change banners, but I don't understand why anyone would scold them for actually trying to make a change and make it better. It's really hard to get it right on first attempt, and they are open to feedback from the playerbase, just let them do their thing. With frequent patches like we have now, and their size, you honestly can't say they're neglecting other skills and stuff (maybe thief is a bit shy on patch notes).
  3. First time for you? I can safely say that every single class or maybe even spec was opressed the way you see firebrand now. You have so many great dps classes to play, even within guardian profession, go out of your little bubble and explore other builds and wait in line for your favorite spec buffs. I imagine guardian will be low priority for them on buff list since it was meta pretty much since it arrived in PoF. And by design, firebrand is more of a support spec, maybe it's okay its finally not doing 40k as dps.
  4. It's just the game telling you "you have to group up or get better at playing your character". It is an MMO after all.
  5. It wouldn't be detrimental to the game, you already have people camping at waypoint spamming to join a map, which makes the map they're on appear dead. If there was a queue people would be able to actually play the game and help the map they're on until they join the map they queued for. You are naive if you think people actually say "oh this map I'm trying to join is full, I'm going to do it on the map I'm on now". Especially true if there is no tags. Also Anet can revert changes why not give it a shot?
  6. If you didn't spend gold on some bizzare builds, you probably could have got legendary gear which would allow you to go crazy with your creativity. And as for any build, you need time to practice it and find its strength and weaknesses, it's hard to find a build that does well in any scenario, and if there is one, it's most likely already found and labeled as meta. But if you really want to play some fun off meta builds, go on youtube, there's a lot of content creators making off meta builds that work well, and from there, modify it to suit your playstyle. The diversity is honestly at all time high and it's only going to get better seeing CMC as skills and balance lead.
  7. I love the communication and hope Cal leads the game in good direction. If we get small explanations on each patch as to why the changes are made, it would probably make it easier for people to understand the changes and make them less mad about them. I hope it happens especially on the next big patch for all game modes. And as for myself, I would love to find out what will be the future of power berserker in PvE. Is it going to die for the sake of Bladesworn and now Spellbreaker? Is it going to be meta only on condi setup? Anyway, keep up the good work Anet!
  8. So you mean 25sec extension when your whole sub get cc'ed? The headbutt outrage interaction is completely fine and fits berserker perfectly and funny enough the cooldowns on those fit nicely into bosses breakbar phases. As OP said, the important thing power berseker is missing is damage. Why is it though? Was the change from multiplicative to additive an accident? The answer is probably no. Berserker is originally a condi spec, but we got lucky the power was a thing. Now that bladesworn is out, Anet doesn't want power berserker to be anywhere near bladesworn level because that won't sell EoD expac. What I hope they realise is that even though both specs are good endgame PvE power builds, they fulfill completely different roles: Bladesworn: Mobility, burst, cleave Power berserker: Single target focus, more of a sustain damage, CC If we were to be fair, berserker should have higher dps than bladesworn because it has less cleave, lower dps uptime on moving bosses, and get this - lower burst! Berserker should be the bursty power spec, but even if it's not going to happen, at least it should be comparable to bladesworn. That being said, buffing greatsword only won't improve it, because power berserker fullfills the CC role which means it brings maces. So to conclude, go ahead with OP idea and make power berserker great again!
  9. RIP Hizen's spellbreaker build, I see this as a totally unnecessary change. No more interrupting berserk mode, very nice QOL change. Even though it's a nice change, I kind of liked the role play aspect of being more vulnerable while in berserk, heck, it's even in the elite spec description. Warrior has a lot of health to compensate this 300 toughness loss. It will make it a bit better in open world though. Very nice change, absolutely love it! Warrior already had a lot of condi cleanse on its kit, but now this is a very strong option, especially considering Shake It Off ammo got reduced ammo. I mean I understand you don't want to recharge shouts in PvP and WvW as it's a bit too strong, but this now kills Heal Bladesworn in PvE and having an extra Axe3 or Pistol5 in open world was always nice. The big question though is, what about EMP from waystation? It's not a warrior skill but it was recovering ammo when Tactical Reload was used; is it still going to be the case? To conclude, bladesworn shouldn't be as overpowered as it is in PvP and WvW, some nice changes in PvE too, but I'm waiting for the day Power Berserker gets back to it's glory (above 37k).
  10. Not bad changes, but 2 outliers: 1 - reaper damage still too low 2 - warrior axe untouched. Both power berserker and spellbreaker use axes. Its especially prominent in cc intensive fights that berserker brings maces, which means no greatsword. With no buff to axes, or even maces, power berserker and spellbreaker will be sad in endgame pve. Greatsword changes however, very nice. Just buff axes and maybe maces and we are happy warrior mains again.
  11. Have an option either for elemantalist to disable conjured weapons pick up by other players, or give all players an option to disable picking them up themselves. I feel so sorry to weavers that I ruin their rotation when I just want to pick up my banners. Imaging clicking on 0.1mm wide banner to target it, or moving around so the game auto selects it over conjured weapon 😅
  12. Hopefully this actually gets read and maybe someone will agree with me. Warrior got caught in a nerf because Anet wanted to reduce burst in DPS classes and create a gap between BS and DPS Warrior. DPS warrior is already a sustain DPS, not a burst so with less precision and ferocity it's going to be even worse. BS on the other hand is going to get hurt even more because not only his sustain goes down, but also the only burst he had which was from Peak Performance (which was mainly used in fractals due to short burst windows). After those changes people might run fractals without BS and just take another DPS class. Anet's concern was that BS is a support but has nearly the same DPS as DPS berserker - here's a solution. Buff DPS warrior along with Spellbreaker! As someone already mentioned, move banners to tactics and make Fast Hands a warrior specific mechanic, not a trait. If you want people to use other trait lines, give us Fast Hands! And make BERSERKER actually go berserk! It's in the name! BURST!
  13. I have been waiting for an hour and none of those spawn. Not even the Rid the Pact of tar elementals. Did some other quests around, nothing wants to start this chain for some reason. There is no specific time on it so I guess it's rng with the chain?
