  1. Placing items as decoration and removing them again is part of the "Decorator" permission. You might need the "Use Placeables" in addition to that. It would allow you to also access the guild sieges and feasts, I just do remember not being able to use guild owned banners while crafting because I was missing that second permission. Could be a combined thing.
  2. I am not gliding with that... https://ibb.co/QcG32kG
  3. Something's wrong with dyeing one of my armor sets in templates. When I am on my second equipment template, the dyes are as shown here. If I then swap to the first one, the gear looks like it's supposed to, which is like this. Then swapping back to template two just overwrites some of the dyes, so I end up with this? The same happens on templates 3 and 4, both take their colors and overwrite T2 - and only that one and that way. The builds use the same base legendary set with different skins. I have tried removing the dyes, completely clearing the template, manually dyeing the T2 again afterwards. But the overwrite always happens, and weirdly, if I then remove the wrong blue dye from T2 (dye remover), it turns it back the way I dyed the template before - not to the armor set's original colors And best of all, none of that happens on my other characters...
  4. You're right, you get what you pay for. Happy to hear you're not bothered 🙂
  5. There's a "Basic" achievement (4 points) and a "Full" achievement (8 points). wiki You don't need to find all of them, correct.
  6. That account has two additional garden plots, unlimited gathering tools, extra bag slots. And it is the second acc. of a player who has spent enough money on the game to have paid a subscription fee for the all-expansions main account since launch. I think that's enough.
  7. While looking through the ingame "Wardrobe Storage" for sword skins, I came across this beauty for a black/white/red themed dual sword revenant: https://ibb.co/f08FVkk https://ibb.co/R9Bh8dp So I spent the 350 Skirmish Claim Tickets plus some change, and then about 30 minutes messing with graphics settings to figure out why my purchase looked nothing like the preview, but like this: https://ibb.co/vdTFhZ6 The official wiki finally helped me with the following information - not on the page for the Weapon Box, not on the page for the sword, but only on the page for the entire set: "The particle effects of these weapons change colors based on what team you are on; they appear either red, blue or green in World versus World, or blue or red in PvP. Outside of these game modes, the weapons will always have a rose-colored hue. [...] Previewing these weapons will always display the Red color scheme, despite the colors switching properly when wielded/applied through the wardrobe." If any of that information had been in the tooltip of the Weapon Box or the sword itself, or if the preview was actually considering the character's current location, I would not have bought the item. That's about a week's worth of tickets wasted for a skin that only appears as previewed if you're on a WvW map and your team lost the previous matchup.
  8. I really do like them too, for once someone actually designed a greatsword and not a greatpaddle. And yes, the set's name is Edgelord, that's just a typo in the tooltip. 🤡
  9. You won't get the 7 statuettes on week 2 for "Full" though. I just find it interesting that you can absolutely run all of "Fractal Rush" and get the non-BL-related items, but you're just ever so slightly short on some of the good rewards on the "Recovery Event".
  10. Is that event, specifically the "Week X - Full" achievements, designed to not be completable on a core account? With the JP on a central Tyria map giving you 4 points and 3 other available skritt on the others, you will end up on 7/8 with no chance at the "Full"-reward... Just curious if it's for the same reason that account can't buy T6 mats for Astral Acclaim, no matter how much or active you actually play it. Because: Buy the expansion, *beep* !
  11. Gratz Ashantara. Not working for me right now. I do remember deleting something after the collection event which I thought was a leftover. But looking at the wiki icon for those event items I doubt that was actually what I got rid of. Bug report sent yesterday, Contact with support ongoing. Timin in the step right before says "Take this bauble to him and he’ll steer you right." Talking to some of the players in KJR, there is a unique item called "Dwarven Trinket" that you need to give to Von Delverunner. https://iili.io/HyiD1A7.png Can't find it on the wiki, but I'll try to get it restored.
  12. That's a /heroic way to save the day. Thank you for the workaround, it does work.
  13. A core account getting the weekly chore to "Finish a strike mission". Cool. Next time I'll use my money to buy what the devs are smoking instead.
  14. Gotta agree, sadly. I wasn't really a fan of the last pieces of EoD content already, but mostly of the direction the game was headed in in general (class balance, story design, latest tp items). The current way the relic system turned out (as much as I liked the underlying idea) needs some tuning, but the highly advertised new Wizard's Vault is just garbage. With the daily login rewards I could, you know, log in, get a small reward. Then do any 4 of 12 dailies to get an extra 2g if I wanted to, and after that go play the content I enjoyed. Make progress towards the gold bonus and some laurels. Or not play at all and watch a movie. With the vault (and only one area of tasks selected) I am now forced to do 4 specific tasks for less rewards. Including stuff I do not like at all, zero choice. As for the rest: Getting 3 free relics per character to chose from is great, if only there were more than maybe two I'd actually use. With one exception I personally don't find the Weapon Mastery stuff interesting either. Plus, if I wanted to play "Griffon Flight Simulator" I would have chosen a different game... tl;dr After the first hour of experiencing the new expansion, I'm not excited - I feel like I shouldn't have bought it.
  15. Help me out here real quick, did only four people really read the original post? Because none of what follows actually relates to it.
  16. "WHO WE ARE We’re ArenaNet. We make the games we want to play and infuse them with innovation, hand-crafted detail, and creative passion. [...]" Direct quote from at least three of their job offerings. For your consideration.
  17. I don't know how to express it in a different way. After the patch you do not heal more, stronger, higher numbers. You also do not provide twentyeight, that was not a typo, stacks of might. And your quickness doesn't speed up people more than the q from other healers. If you were at 100% q uptime before with 25 stacks of might while having access to your other utility and support stuff, literally nothing has changed. You have more ways to do that now, but what you do isn't better. The fact that druids, especially now, aren't in a good state, doesn't change that. I agree that they were made worse. But if you played HFB a lot I assume you have experienced the raw heal output of druids (pre-patch) or the heal+cleansing capabilities of tempests, so on "HFB being the superior healer" we'll just have to disagree.
  18. Let me rephrase since I believe we're talking about the same thing. I personally did not burn Potence and used two charges on the heal mantra to also upkeep protection, and to keep all final charges for emergencies. Slotting in cleanse and stab mantra would, in combination with Weighty Terms, lead to high benefit from the trait's cd reduction - and in combination with weapon skills to a playstyle that allowed me to fine tune anywhere between standing around and regenerating group hp to "holy kitten" tome and mantra full burn. This only got somewhat interrupted by encounters with high, semi-permanent stab demand (Chaos fractal boss) where I would slot Stand Your Ground!, stab mantra and potentially even Hallowed Ground - which would require me to swap into Stalwart Speed to keep Quickness up. With the cooldown reduction baked into the mantras it is now easier to swap that trait or your elite depending on what's needed. Which made it generally more flexible in supporting either via tome usage or via mantra usage - or, if needed, both. So as you said, especially in the last paragraph of your post, you have a lot of ways to adjust to an encounter and support your group, always giving your core boon of Quickness 100% of the time. My point was just that HFB didn't get better with the patch, your Quickness isn't more effective, you don't give 28 stacks of might, you don't heal for more.
  19. Definitely not pre-purchasing, there's very few people (and no company) I would give a zero-interest loan to in general. Especially not when performance is declining. And since I personally don't enjoy the direction the game is taking in terms of monetization, content quality and class variety / balancing, I'm just holding until the final "I quit" moment.
  20. "It's canon that Guardians are the evolution of the GW1 Monk class" Ah, yes, the infamous akimbo 9mm semi automatic pistol monk. Sorry just using that as a hook since I'm frustrated that Warhorn (lotro / eso) was apparently too obvious.
  21. No. Did that on earlier Firebrand and Specter changes, hundreds of people did that before the last balance patch(es). My feedback is: I chose not to participate.
  22. As far as options in this poll go - neither. I'd like to use one sword with both hands (->Belinda's) and have parry-skills like Counterblow or Illusionary Riposte. But I guess Anet is going for the other "ninja" equipment.
  23. While I do agree that HFB is a solid healer at the moment, I don't think the patch made it much better. At least not in terms of HFB was running Master of Consecrations before, so the cd or duration did not change. There still is no real reason to swap out of that trait imo. Weighty Terms was used for the cooldown reduction, since HFB (due to similar functioning utilities) doesn't rely on tome usage as much as the dps variants did. So the mantra cooldowns also didn't change much, except for the niche cases when you would swap to Stalwart Speed for high stab encounters. Feel my Wrath! did not get the reduced cooldown included at all (except in WvW where you don't use it). So realistically HFB got a lower Advance! and Stand Your Ground! cooldown and some more freedom of choice when it comes to trait / util combinations. But when supposed heal-druids can either do more healing while in CA or provide their core boon of alacrity, I don't think HFB is what needs changing...
