Tbh it's just your preference. Boon Chrono very variable builds for more dmg, more cc, more quickness, quickness + alacrity (when u play 2 chronos)in conclusion u will need a lot of different accessoiries, weapons and armors to be ready for everything a chrono has to dou will most likely be the tank on certain bosses (best tank in game)Mesmer is the first class you should craft a legendary armor for (this guy needs a shit ton of build variety)Quick Firebrand (qFB) you can quickly change it from quick to condi FB. Just exchange weapons (sigil of concentration) and consumables. So you have a DPS with the same Armor and Weapons (lucky-noobs.com)in PUGs you will often see no qFB, cause the job is done by a Heal FB. In that situation you can go to cFB and just do the same rota. In the current meta you will see the Firebrigade, which means - 1 Boon Chrono, 1 qFB/hFB and 1 Renegade (Alacrity). Both classes are in the current meta. 2 Chronos are usualy not played, cause the Firebrigade will do more damage.

I'm a Veteran that started playing again in Jan 2020 after i've stopped in 2014. I was a member of a semi-speedclear Guild in 2014. The first Goal were the Raids after i've seen they've been implemented into the game. After now two legendary Armors and the 3rd in progress, i wanted to start getting into Fractal CMs. I can offer experience with different classes like pSB, any form of Guardian Builds and Mesmer. I played alac in t4s a bit, but i guess i can't say that i can play it viable in CMs. I have 3 old kp, cause i was running it as an filler with a static as BS when i started playing again. I'd like to join a static that may has no exp but has knowledge about their classes (Meta Builds) and some of the CMs. With Knowledge about the CMs i mean the own interest in looking for actual tactics.
