So, making a point about the upcoming balance patch... - Willbender shall remain a sort of DnD cleric buffer possessed by an ancient assassin spirit using dual vorpal sword to cleave till death everything in range, infinite shadowsteps and huge aoe damage. - Celestial and Ministrel shall remain mandatory in a massive battleground content that was supposed to promote diversity about gear stats. - PvP (arena content) DE has performed a little too much cuz of shadowsteps + stealth mechanic then you are going to "tune it down a little bit" by doubling the initiative cost of its main mechanic that will result in a barely shooting DE unable to escape (basically a dummy statue of a war hero dead sniper)... Just to clear it again from 2 to 4 means you are doubling a cost on a 12-15 pool scale. Math has never been your best Anet. - Core classes will remain totally untouched in order to stay on the very bottom of the performance even with the increasing power creep (all cores except the mightful guardian ofc, we love our OP all-doing hero). Cuz "pay to win" is an offensive diction, we do prefer "update to win". - Warrior has still nonsensed stuff going on like the buff which is a Nerf on Defiant stance that by giving protection actually does reduce the healing by 33% and my favorite, the Defensive stance line that has no longer scaling bonuses from toughness to power (seems sensed to me, why should u get bonuses from toughness by choosing a line that is called DEFENSE) - Thief: deadly aim still something outrageous to see and will never get any real use as much as the trait standing above of practiced tolerance (can't remember the name) which applies useless vuln. >>After<< a stellth attack. What to say?? Patch Success is in our tradition.
  2. I wrote the same stuff when the 28th has been announced and into a couple of other discussion around the forum, it is indeed a griefing trait... They could easely make it at use by granting pierce+unblockable in order to get finally rid of that annoying barriers... But guess what, they don't care -.-... Same story for the deadeye concentration trait... 1.5% per boon (and u can barely generate 5 after a good steal), and enhanced concentration (already nerfed in competitive, just to clear the fact it will always be useless), but the trait still has some dedicated bonus to dual pistol users, something like dodge rolling giving you haste + swiftness.... Guess what again: they do not care... And the "rebooted" final trait to always perform slow is just another meme..
  3. - Why griefing malicious stealth attack on pistol? - Why nerfing invigorating precision in pve content when it is the major trait that keeps you basically alive? - Why not giving Deadly Aim piercing + unblockable in order to get it finally at use, especially in wvw content, maybe removing that nonsensed 5%damage reduction? - Why not grating dual pistol deadeye a viable mechanic aside of the flawless shaadowstep,attac,return... (Maybe in the concentration trait solt, which is supposed to be dedicated at)? - Why DE mark sometimes just simply do not land properly getting stuck into an invisible wall/edge? - Why not changing the whole stealth mechanic in order to be invisible as much as you want, but only before entering combat, so you could finally scout as intended and stop to "jump" into nonsensed smoke rings? - Why not giving shadow arts some viable traits? - Why nerfing poison trait in the deadly art branch, from 33% to 5% in competitive, making in this way also shortbow 1 bleed basically useless...? I could continue for another page, the main answer is that, basically, they do not know nothing about their own content, and they will keep overbuffing new elites in order to maintain that horrible power creep.
  4. Same also happens with shortbow bouncings.... The first bounce (which means the second impact after the main target hitting) ruins up the f2 stealth... On pistol you can easely avoid the issue by keep tapped the auto attack button that deletes the wrong common attack and trigeers the stealth one instead... On rifle, never had any kind of problem personally... If u find these solutions too much annoying just turn your rear in front of the target then trigger F2, it always works in pve... Try to do not perform like this in competitive cuz you could easely invite another thief to stab you ˆˆ and it's not really worth the price.
  5. Totally agree on the lacking of proper bonuses on Deadly Aim... I would be more than glad to have just pierce+unblockable, even by keeping the -5% penalty to damage.
  6. Tbh, Deadly Aim should be something like: -5% damage, piercing + unblockable.... Cuz the number of deflecting barriers in the game are something impossible to handle both in pve and pvp... You also renounce to something like a 15-20% crt. damage in order to get that trait (cuz you are not going practiced tolerance), and getting only pierce capabilities in exchange of a -20% crt. damage and a -5% on regular hits for a total of -25% on crt. damage is something really cringe.
  7. Nice mediating of the horrible nerf to shadow strike happened 2 years ago.... That said, it won't change much, the main problem of pistols viability in wvw is that deadly aim should grant not only pierce but also unblockable. Choosing deadly aim means that you will not have the practiced tolerance bonus to ferocity which is basically a 15-20% penalty (based on sensed precision) plus a reduction of 5% on the basic damage, so basically a -5% on non critical hits and a -20%/-25% on critical hits.... The amount of lost damage is huge, that's why you should grant to deadly aim pierce+unblockable in order to get a well deserved "full target accessibility". As it is now, whether be condi or power won't change much, the result is the same: poor paper made thief shadow stepping on the flank and getting erased by his own shots cuz of the 250 billions deflecting barriers between him and his target.
  8. I was about to collect my last coin, #20 near Salamanders Rise, the loading bar was almost complete when I did disconnected from the server... As I logged in again the coins was no more on the ground but the achieve didn't updated.... I think that the code seems to considering it as collected in terms of interaction but not in terms of achievement. Now I am stuck on that achiev. and really don't know how to get rid of it.
  9. Agree on the lacking of precision and agree on trait lines being totally messed up... As I already said into another thread the solution would be - Passive perk +precision in the Arms trait line (which makes sense cuz of expertise conversion), something like a +100 precision would work. - Slectable perk in defense that convert 10% of toughness in power should also convert into precision (the same way the strength trailine does convert power into ferocity and vitality)... Also agree on some support trait not being in the right perk line... A good example is the ambiguous presence of healing related to power and might in both strength and tactics... I mean, i can accept having ferocity buffs in arm trailine (which is mainly condi), but being almost forced to choose strength for being a support it doesn't really make any sense to me... Same for banners in the disci line which is even more senseless... As far as I understand I guess some of the devs (or even everyone) hadn't play warrior in a while, expecially the core one.

Not exactly, to be clear, the majority of warrior's problems are from the lack of "make it sensed somehow" between the traitlines and fighting dynamics.... 1) No perk to scale up with to provide precision... there is a trait in Strength which provides ferocity and vitality scaling up with power and there is a trait in Defense which provides power (also not stacking with the previous one) scaling up with toughness.... This last one should provide not only power but also a percentage of precision to make the whole trait line sensed. 2) If u do like ferocity spree potential just forget about wvw, every time you get signet of ferocity (Arms traitline) stacking up, all of the stacks shall be immediately deleted upon mounting on a warclaw (pretty much a must to have nowadays) 3) Keeping the argument on Arms there should be a passive to provide some precision here, something just like +100 precision, but once again they did prefer to force player to have bleed stuff (why should we all play condi thing?? never got that point) narrowing the build options range even more. 4) Strength trait line can provide might on crt. hit and then healing through might gain... Fun facts: the precision pool is already lacking (as i said before) then the chance of getting might is not even 100% but a mere 50% (which means 50% of an already low % of crt chance, generally 50% of a 60%= 30% might chance) and above all, the amount of healing given which is basically ridicolous in competitive, something like 85 base value.. Sorry, can't really say all of my problems (on dual axe at least) come from skills, they rather come from traitline being garbage and devs being not able to do their job.

Please, cmon, i wanna laugh a little bit more considering the fact that it was me in the first place to say that griefing is a different thing from balancing.... And btw, sorry if i insist, as a bad person unable to see how "right and amazing" those minor nerfs are, i have also forgotten to switch off notifications...   13. The nerf is not that much on Deadeye, but on the P/D setup, which affects Deadeye,Vanilla,Daredeavil... And not a minor one at all. Something like -45% damage at the end of the line...And saying "we can still pew pew for ages", well, seems like you should really have a cut on drugs dude.... Ages is now the amount of time to have enought initiative to complete the rotation. If you want to nerf a benchmark u start to balance what the class is actually lacking of, not just dropping down damage griefing a whole class (not spec, the whole freaking class+weapon setup). Anyway, thanks God, account refund probably approved, bb. Enjoy the random griefing on the same 2 classes just to make other ones look kinda better. I couldn't say it better than that. Seems like a suicide kamikaze bringing some poison just to help out in some way... Say bb to all condi Thieves.

Anway, do not worry i will do the same cuz i like to play on sensed communities, not this ****. I mean, /quit and hope to not see the company again... 1) Nope! 2) Nope! 3) Don't even wanna answer to something that stupid .... 4) Not even close to the truth... I am playing only thief by 1 year (i repeat, ONLY THIEF), and the nerfs have in fact made the build totally pointless... Out of initiative for something like 4 stacks of torment = dead (eye). But ofc the solution for the future will be, buffing the Guardian a little bit more... you never know, he could easely lose the ability to solo she kitten out of every map... (God wills it!)

Also thanks, the class is now no more playable, luckely i didn't purchase any expansion and i think i won't neither after this lolling joke.
