Im having a hard time figuring out the Dragonstorm events. Like, I know there is an instanced version of Dragonstorm where you kill the dragons, but i dont ever recall that having events in it. On wiki it states that its also shiverpeak areas, in which i went and did a couple side events in frostgourge and it didnt progress one bit. Any pointers on how to knock these Dragonstorm events out would be greatly appreciated

Ive been having this same problem now since the first alliance beta and have to delete that kitten folder every time and turn off all virus protection and windows defender and everything. Today its not working. Launcher simply launches and immediately closes. If i delete the appdata folder it will download for about 4 seconds then close and not reopen.

i have all but 1 grafitti, and its the one that is bugged outside of the middle map waypoint to the north on the west facing wall, im not in game now so i cant say what the name of the waypoint is.

i have now fished 16 dusk/dawn time frames in Orrian for the octopus and haven't caught it yet, 2 of those times i was at 825% fishing power. I stayed on map several times to fish 2 dusk and 2 dawn consecutively and still haven't caught the octopus. All while people that just get on map spam that they caught it and just got there. Talk about pissed. Pissed isn't even the word. And yes, i keep wiki up on day and night page to make sure i fish during the correct times.

What i HIGHLY HIGHLY suggest doing is creating a support ticket on this website and not in game. They have ALWAYS answered the support tickets i file on the website in literaly 2 days or less. I dont know why, but they are uber quick with those. Every ticket i have filed through the website has worked out in my favor, whereas in game, i dont think I have ever hadd a reply, and i know I've filed probably over 100. What i actually came here to ask wwas wwhat materials are in the EoD expedition contract since it is not listed on wiki. I can only assume that Dragon's Endd is jade chunks, Echovold is most likely the amber. Im unsure of what Kaineng anddd Seitung Province materials wouldd be though. If anyone has them and gets the mats can you please give me some info on this. Thank you very much

Nope, I've been through all of that countless times. Even tried uninstalling the game and reinstalling (which only worked once out of the other 10 or so times this has happened) One time i deleted and tried reinstalling and the installer launcher would end up doing the exact same thing. Opens for a split second and immediately closes.

This seems to happen every time ANET implements a patch. The game launcher opens then immediately closes. This has been happening all the way back to the first elite spec beta. I always have to wait till the enxt day to play the game. I also have no add-ons installed.

This has happened to me ever since the very first beta elite-spec preview. The launcher would launch for a second then immediately close. The first time i experienced this i had to totally uninstall the game and delete all data and reinstall. Second time this happened was a patch after that first week, I want to say it was the Tuesday after that first beta happened. So, seeing how that worked the first time (though it gets VERY old having to delete/reinstall the game every time this happens) I continued to totally uninstall and delete all files. Downloaded the GW Installer only to have that do THE EXACT SAME THING. I couldn't even install the game because the launcher for the installer immediately closed. Came back to it a day or two later and was able to install the game and get it up and running again. Rinse repeat this scenario for every time Anet has implemented a patch/game update since that initial beta. I have posted every single time this has happened in the Bugs forum but have never had a real clear and concise answer. And yes, now once again, I cannot open the game. The GW launcher opened and downloaded the update after the 11am update (central time) but as soon as it finished downloading the launcher closed and never opens and STAYS running. At this point i don't know what to do. When this happens i go and make sure i have all the updated graphics drivers, restart, etc. This got old after the first 2 or 3 times it happened to me.

Once again, gw launcher will automatically close. I was playing the game when it updated, went to make a character and it only allowed me to select warrior ele and revenant, so i was like," guess i have to restart the game. Closed guild wars 2 and double clicked my launcher only for it to immediately close. I have NO addons. This is the 3rd time this has happened to me. It happens every signle time there is a beta. Last time i deleted the game and tried re-installing it only for the installation launcher to do the same kitten thing.

I totally uninstalled, deleted all content andd reinstalled and the installer wouldnt even stay running. finally go it working. Now i get home today and the game launcher is doing the same exact thing. Please dont tell me im going to have to completely reinstall every single time yall make an update. I dont know if this has something to do with me instaling this on an SSD rather than my regular C/. That being said I finally got the launcher to start up after replacing my aftermarket RAM with my OEM ram. No idea why it worked but my launcher is finally installing the game now.

Same exact thing here, last time i had to delete the game and re-install, so i deleted the game this time only now the install launcher is doing the exact same thing so i cant even re-install game now. I will add i have never had dx11 checkmarked and tried the -dx9 and -repair command, and deleting dat file, nothing worked.

Yep, i had same problem. No add-ons installed or anything. Launcher opens, stays at 0MB/sec and closes immediately. Tried all the command line prompts and nothing worked. Ended up uninstalling and deleting whole game. Re-installing now to see if this fixes it for some reason. I also have my game installed on a SSD and not the regular c/drive. Dont know if that matters but figured I would add that.

My game wont even load. The GW launcher pops up, doesnt download anything and immediately closes

We had all these modes in guild wars 1 pvp. I have no f'ing clue as to why gw2 doesnt have at least some variation of the same game mode tombs/HA had back in the day. This is actually the sole reason i quit the game for 5 years after buying it initially back on launch. Was really upset we didn't have pvp like old gw. I can say with the old HA format that there was a huge variety of character builds and team builds to play back then. IWAY, Ranger Spike, Necro Spike, SF Spike, good ole balanced builds with pd mes and proper team healing from a monk. The last map on the HA rotation was hall of heroes. it was a 3 team map with a king of the hill game mode. The last team standing stayed in the hall to fight the next teams coming, all while the rewards (fame) stacked with multiple wins. Teams would sometimes hold the halls for hours on end. Whatever team region (NA or EU) held halls, their region had access to the Underworld and Fissure of Woe (endgame content) Now that i think about it, this game was way ahead of its time. But now we dont even have a dedicated guild versus guild game mode in a game called guild wars.
