Did anybody notice a similarity between Omadd's Machine and the Total Perspective Vortex that Zaphod Beeblebrox was forced to endure? And another similarity regarding intentionally hiding an aspect of oneself, to prevent later discovery even by the same person? <-- makes sense if you understand what Zaphod Beeblebrox did to himself.
