Casual means, any player that does not invest that much of their time, by being because they're at work, they travel a lot, have kids, etc, and can't engage in hardcore gaming 10 hours a day, GW2 never deletes or makes your character feel outdated. You can leave 3 years, and your Char will still be relevant with its gear.

The fact that you must dial-down your elements on screen to be playabe, is unacceptable. Make a GW3 with a proper 2022 engine (Dx12 compatible), scalable to be upgradable and be able to see all of our teams fighting like a true Zerg.

You don't have to look very far, look FF14 Endwalker, many believed it wouldn't surpass Shadowbringers in terms of quality and narrative, and it did, it lived up to the hype and even surmounted it. And what's more, we are expecting MORE. Why? because the audience know what they can do, and we know how the patch cycles go. What Anet story hype me the most? LWS4. I don't know what came into the minds of those writers but it was so good that it is beyond me what happened with IBS after. If they had a plan.... No matter semiconductors, no matter pandemic, they story would've been delayed, but the quality would be maintained.

Am I the only one that considers what a wasted opportunity this was for Arenanet to promote this expansion big time? I have seen no trends, no news, no more Live events, and content creators are just a few, the biggest streamers never surpasses 300 viewers. While in FF14, they don't even have to market the game. The game makes news on its own, not being able to be played for being so successful. They needed to bring out claws and teeth for the community these last months, and this has not been the case.

Have you seen the state of WoW lately? Even with subscription-based model, they have a "Black Lion Trading" on its own, at very very high draconian prices. My point is, the model wouldn't change the business model Anet would've want to adopt. That depends on them.
