My spot was garden heights. Tons of batteries, zip lines and charge stations. Wp in get my charges and head out. However if a certain event was going it ports you to the dock which sucks. Yes I agree adding this CD is absurd.

I was just in the Domain of Vabbi wanting to do Serpent's Ire. Every time I had to touch down and the boons triggered from a brand strike I thought to myself "well that sucks, guess I wont be needing those anytime soon"...

I knew something was off today. I grab the protocols all the time. Today i was thrilled to see the time upped and fast charge rate. Then I started playing and was thinking ok something isn't right. Not super happy about it.

just came to post this it takes a while longer now. It is odd.

I hadn't done much WvW but found myself once again needing not only the gift but clovers for a gen 2 I decided to make few weeks ago. I figured I would bang out some tracks for the clovers and get the gift and be on my way. I had plenty of xp boosters and the like to try and maximize my return. Upon arriving on the battle field I found one team or server basically owned everything and it wasnt the team I was on. Long story short after a few days I just let the reality sink in that it was going to be a bit of a challenge. As it was designed I suppose. There were times I would log in and there would be almost no one on my team which made it difficult. Anyway. I managed to get the gift and did several track for clovers and even banged out the warclaw track at the end( which I should have did first). Was it fun? At times it was fun especially if I managed to log in when my side actually had players participating. That being said it is not something I look forward to repeating. However next time I will know what I am up against and a little better prepared. I guess in the end it made making my legendary that much more rewarding.

I have combat issues on my necro often. I will some how tag ambient things like crabs, or rats or some other thing i cant see and can't exit combat. Unrelated- I also believe these cause issues with spectral grasp. it will pull a fly or some crap over instead of one of the targets I want.

maybe a dumb question but is the shrine lit at the end? The second crystal won't appear unless it is. When I did this I was convinced there was a bug. I must have tried every single thing I could think of then did the puzzle and made sure I had the ether the mirrors were turned and shrine lit at the end and the crystal appeared. I just did the jp yesterday and the chest appeared also.

526.86 is buggy as hell. Theres some posts on it and something in the release notes also. I was seeing 99-100% gpu usage with it. I had to roll back to 517.48 to not have any issues. I was also seeing high gpu load outside of gw2.

So Nvidia released some new drivers a few days ago. 526.86 . Updated to 526.86 maybe yesterday or the day it came out. Noticed some issues with my 3070 ti and 5800x on a msi x570s tomahawk max wifi today. I really only play Guild Wars 2 and was seeing some some issues today with stuttering and item textures taking a few seconds to load in the Trading Post. I Turned on task manager and was seeing 100% gpu utilization when it is normally maybe 35%ish. Even after shutting Gw2 down I was seeing high gpu usage on the desktop. Clean installed 522.25 and it didn't fix it. Went back to 517.48 and everything is back to normal. Looks like many people are having some issues with it from what I am reading. . Just thought I would throw that out there if anyone is having issues. Just want to add this isn't a gw2 specific issue and a known issue with other work arounds possible to fix it in windows. I just noticed there was a problem as I only play this game and it was acting up when it usually runs great.

I'm finding I have several fishing achievements almost done. When I say almost I mean every fish I don't have for those achievements is a dusk/dawn fish that I only have a 5 minute window to catch. At first I would camp my spots out. Find a spot that would offer me the most fishing holes in an area I could get to quickly. Park my skiff and get ready. Staring at the time of day waiting. Then race from one hole to the next mostly with no success. I've since given up on those dusk to dawn fish and achievements unless I happen to be in the area at the right time. The frustration Of only have 5 minutes to catch the fish made it not fun, not exciting and not rewarding for me in anyway.

User error. end shrine must be illuminated. Decided, hey now there your an expert at getting there light the shrine and see what happens. The shard appeared.

So I am trying to do the aurenes facet of persuasion quest to get jormags bite skin. I am on the part for the jumping puzzle. I have completed drakkar and have lingering icebrood ather in the achiev panel. I go into Den Of Whispers and touch the first shard. Get the Buff unpurified lingering Icebrood Aether. Did the puzzle (3x) and the second shard is not there at the end. Another person came along and couldn't see it as well. I have relogged, switched worlds and I don't know what's going on. Maybe it's user error.

fixed this issue just now. made sure the audio device was set to realtek speakers in gw2 and on the pc. Then and I know i unticked this before, under sound settings/speaker realtek/enhance audio made sure it was off. I know i turned this off before but maybe windows did something goofy, who knows. When i ticked the slider i lost all sound on gw2 for a second then had to reselect the audio device in gw2.

for instance I am standing in front of two npc that are talking. If I zoom in and look at one the audio from the other will cut out if they aren't directly in front of me and standing just to the side. Or if I pan the camera at say at distance of 10ft away from someone that is talking or even closer the audio cuts out or sometimes It sounds if they are at the end of a long tunnel or cave and I can barely hear an echo. This is if they are standing right there next to me. I mean if Im in the same room standing next to someone who is talking and my glance goes away from them I can still hear them talk irl. I just don't get it.

I don't have surround sound enabled or any of those enhancement settings. Thanks for the input I appreciate it.

I am having the same issue and it just recently started doing this. I would like to add that I can be standing 10ft away from an npc talking and turn my camera to look around with my character facing them and can hear nothing. However I can fly away from them while they are speaking and be half a map away, turn the camera in their direction and hear them as if they are standing right in front of me even if there is a mountain the way. What's the deal here?

picked up the darkmist terror skyscale and it has changed to random mounts a few times when mounting in the short time i have had it.

EDIT: So I decided to check what zones this happens in. So far I am only seeing it happen in Domain Of Istan. Not sure if this is normal or not. Been playing on this new pc for about a year now. Just today i noticed the TP acting clunky. So i opened Task Manager. gpu in the upper 90s just sitting still. Temps fine lower 60C area. Memory load lower 20% same with mcu. Havent changed any setting using recommended. Not overclocking or anything like that. Is this normal? Pc is up to date with drivers. only thing I am running is a old bios which i am looking into updating once i do some more research. just completed this a few days ago and didn't run into any issues. It had been sitting there as the only part of the story not complete for months as it was tedious to solo. However it appears the story now saves progression which was a relief.

Having a recent issue where spectral grasp is incredibly bugged for me. Sometimes it pulls nothing others only 1 or only pulls a small distance. This is happening in areas with no visible obstructions as well. Never really had an issue with it until very recently.

Just went back and did it again and it worked fine.
