  1. 2v2 and 3v3 seasons are buns bro. No one likes playing that other than casuals who almost never PvP.
  2. This new condi axe deadeye build is extremely toxic, easy to pull off, and waaayyyy too strong. It is literally impossible to lock down. I said it already and I'll say it again. Reveal needs a baseline 8 second duration. 6 seconds is no where near enough. I'm soo tired of fighting these ridiculous stealth spamming builds with insane burst potential It's not just deadeye, axe thief in general is WAY too overtuned. The extremely high burst damage with carrion amulet is completely unacceptable. Build is way too tanky, does way too high burst AND sustained damage. The rifle initiative nerfs are legit irrelevant. SA deadeye can still spam 4 for perma stealth. Anet seriously you need to learn how to properly nerf builds.
  3. TBH I don't see how any of those builds counter mirage. Even thief. SA DD doesn't bring enough to a mAT comp and mirage can one shot a crit strikes DD easily. Unavoidable split surge goes BRRR.

  7. How will we even know if staff warrior wins mAT? Teapot and Vallun have abandoned it and there's no one else to consistently broadcast. ATs should be spectatable by everyone. The fact that you need some Anet special pass to do so is laughable. Maybe we can't because it would allow stream sniping for build counters? Idk.

  9. Only way to do it is play an extremely high damage build and pray your teammates aren't monkeys. I personally use SLB and it still takes like two cycles of CDs with the help of team to kill.
  10. Deadeye is the most elo boosted spec in the history of GW2. Stealth on dodge coupled with the insanely strong synergy when taking Shadow Arts is beyond dumb. This spec has been my #1 most hated spec for years. The spec is borderline immune to condis and has WAYYYY too much stealth and mobility for the damage that it provides. It's extremely unfun to play against and extremely unfun to play. Generates way too much value all things considered. I suggest ANet gut this build totally. Reveal should be 8 seconds coming out of stealth. 6 seconds is not enough and honestly a total joke to try and lock this build down in that time frame
  11. Staff warrior is the worst spec I've seen in a while. Almost unkillable in 1v2 situations, insanely strong AoE healing capabilities. Spec is extremely unfun to play against. I don't usually take breaks because of the meta, but I think this will be the first. So many specs are way too tanky in the meta, but warrior takes the cake. Once the season is over, I'm shelving GW2 till the idiotic live lord builds get nerfed, if they ever will
  12. FA weaver is one of those builds that is heavily influenced by keybinds. If you're using a shift modifier for your f skills, then you're gonna suck. My f skills are the easiest and most accessible keybinds I have and I've been accused of scripting before. Once your muscle memory is there, the combos aren't hard to do quickly. The best advice i can give is to trust your muscle memory for FA weaver. Don't go by visuals and don't spam tap your instants. Press it once and then press the next bind in the sequence. I hover around 1450-1525 elo and if I can do it fast, then better players will be even more impressive and appear to be scripting.
  13. You're completely forgetting about lightning rod builds. Potentially LR builds will be really good with the new arcane dash daze skill aswell
  14. How could you forget the best mesmer change?! Desperate Decoy: This trait has been reworked. Gain vigor when you evade an attack. Power mirage go BRRRR
  15. A game against a guard and two necros is easily winnable if you just out rotate, play 3 nodes, play objectives etc. And most importantly, don't 4v4+
  16. What they should do is increase queue times and change the matchmaking to not try to balance based on team composition, but by elo only. If there are 4 engineers on one team to balance teams based on elo, then that's what should be happening. Making two g3 guards go up against two p2 guards for the sake of class mirroring is bad matchmaking.
  17. Pretty much man. The game has turned into an extremely high APM spam fest. Use your mobility skills as fast as possible to get to your target as fast as possible so you can press your damage as fast as possible. Theres not much to think about. Half the classes can do it with stability and the other half can do damage while immune and evading. There isn't much nuance to GW2 anymore. Combat used to have rhythm, a perfect blend of proactive and reactive gameplay. Cooldowns were longer and timing them mattered more. There was way less resustain, boon spam, mobility. In general, the game was much slower paced, so you had to think about what you were doing. Now you just zoom in and blow your load as fast as possible. Too much mechanic bloat, too much class homogenization. The game is way too fast paced for your average MMO PvPer to get into. The games still kinda fun, but peak GW2 PvP passed years ago.
  18. Yes now finally engi will(hopefully) get some much needed buffs now that grenade kit is no longer gatekeeping the class from actually being in a decent state.
  19. The smokescale 'nerf' was a straight buff for sic em SLB. Knockdown merged now crits for 5k and is easy to land. Before knockdown was only enough CC to land worldly impact, but now you hit them twice for over 10k, assuming you still land WI.

HERES MY REWORK SUGGESTION FOR THE SHORTBOW 2 SKILL - ammo ability that throws out Lingering gas in LARGE radius. 3-5 skills - ground targeted darts that ignite the gas fields for Lingering effects, obviously these will have their own effects that work independently of gas ignition, so you can use them as stand alone skills, or to ignite the gas! Please rework shortbow! I see the vision in it, but the execution was below poor.
  21. After some playtesting in PvP, I can say with certainty that shortbow is 100% the worst designed weapon in the game and it isn't even close. Completely obsolete and a HUGE liability to anyone running it. If you use shortbow you are gimping yourself to the nth degree, absolutely unplayable. Ridiculously long cast time, projectile speed, coupled with having to manually detonate AND pathetically small radius makes for EXTREMELY clunky and frustrating gameplay. Needs a MAJOR overhaul/rework. Whoever gave the greenlight to release this after internal testing should be evaluated by management. Sorry not trying to be a kitten, but this is a major disappointment. I fail to see how anyone who designed this weapon actually plays GW2 or has any understanding of how combat works. Hopefully my message makes it apparent that this weapon needs updates IMMEDIATLEY. Aside from that, LOVING the engi buffs in PvP and the new relic of Vass is AWESOME!!!! support scrapper pumps so much healing now and comboing with Relic of Karakosa is super fun.
  22. Elixer gun is still good in sPvP. Could def use some minor tweaks though. That being said, It's gonna have great synergy with the Relic of Vass buffs.
