  1. I think everyone can agree, that the last episode of the Icebrood Saga sucked. but you really don't have to play it. The masteries in the Icebrood saga, except maybe the United Legions Waystation, are only useful inside of the Icebrood Saga content itself. and if you don't want to play the icebrood saga, then why do you have the urge to get the masteries? maybe you want essence manipulation for the chests in bjora marches, or something else, and for that the mastery points you get from the other Icebrood Saga maps should be sufficient. just collect all insights and do a few achievements
  2. Hello there, I am an Engineer main and currently posses 2 Legendary weapons, the Predator and Juggernaut. In most Engi builds you spend 90% of your time using kits or the photonforge, where you don't get to see any legendary effects or footsteps, meaning you usually don't get to see your legendary that much in combat. It's just sad to see, when you put that much work into a Legendary, and then you don't even get to see it that much. The Juggernaut has the effect, that makes it look like your armor is covered in Quicksilver, and I like this effect with my fashion wars build of my Engi's Berserker gearset, but when you equip, for example, the grenade kit, the effect just goes away. I wanna stay silver while using kits, and I want the explosion effects of the predator while in Photonforge mode. I don't expect special animations for all the kit skills, but at least the main effect, like Juggernauts silver bodycover, and footsteps of the legendary. Of course, there are other classes, that have this "issue" but not as much as engi.
  3. okay yeah, I tried that. at first nothing changed, when I plugged out my 2nd monitor and started the game, so I restarted my pc with the monitor still disconnected, started the game again, and something changed, the general annoying stuttering was still there, but the tradingpost lags and freezes seem to be less. not gone but less....

Yeah, the Black Lion being really slow, also has been an issue of mine for a while now, but that was always just the interface, not the whole game, or the windows task bar xD.. and yeah, been using an addon to force GW2 to use DX9 for a while now, before this issue.. did try deactivating it, to see if there is a difference, but there isnt. I run in windowed fullscreen.. tried to set it to fullscreen but it doesnt do anything
  5. So, I don't know if its a Guildwars issue, a windows issue, a Radeon issue, but im just gonna post it here. I recently reinstalled the AMD software for my Radeon GPU, and since then, Guild Wars for me has a general stuttering issue, the fps shows me 90 but it feels more like 20-10 fps. The unusual part is, what happens, when I open/navigate the black lion trading post menu, or when the game starts. The game freezes for a few seconds, or the stuttering just intesifies, but at the same time, I see my Windows taskbar flickering weirdly on my second screen. I got no clue, how me opening a interface ingame, could have a connection to the taskbar.. no Idea whatsoever. to fix the general stuttering, and the issue with the interface/windows taskbar, I tried rolling back to a previous version of Radeon, uninstalling windows updates, reinstalling Guildwars, running virus scans, run a system scan, all to no avail. help would be appreciated
  6. Now this aint exactly a bug, but it might as well be. Just did the dragonfall meta, with a squad full of people. I don't know the exact number, it fluctuated of course, but there were roundabout 30-40, and I think the map was even full at some point.. this aint exactly empty, there is no reason to close a map that is full. Now the message, that the map was gonna be closed was visible, but nobody thought the map would be closed with that many people on it, but it did, just minutes away from completing the map meta. this just wasted a lot of peoples time. please put in some kind of "feature" that actually counts how many people are on the map, and aborts closing the map.. I dont even know, why it triggered the closing of the map in the first place, because when the message popped up, the map wasnt exactly empty either
