Good day, I've been farming the new zones for there materials like static charges pinches of stardust etc with there meta event items working towards the new PVE /open world legendary armor and I'm finding amnytas materials are alot harder to farm due to the events being so spread out, what feels like less greater and lesser chests and the meta doesn't compensate for the lack of pinches of stardust. While skywatch and inner Nayos both have event density and what feels like more chests overall. Unless I'm just missing something in amnytas I feel like we should be able to use our excess unusual coins to buy zone currencies or meta materials. At least then you'd have a use for the coins after using the 1500 for the Lego set.

  3. Good day, I've started playing untamed because I enjoy hammer builds and noticed there is something odd with it or at least feels very odd. While the hammer skills are quick and plays like a spammy class it get no cooldown reductions I heard it used too, it doesn't have access to alacrity but it has quickness but not in WvW. Why was these things cut? The elite skill forests fortifications has a 90 second cooldown with a 1 second cast time in WvW this feels straight up awful. It's not like guardian where they just can become immune to everything. It's a damage reduction cooldown basically a holy schnitzel button but why the cast time? The quickness uptime from a newb stand point seems like I need to run 90% or higher boon duration so like all diviners with a zerker /assassin weapon. Could we get some sort of weapon skill cooldown reduction for hammer or overall trait?
  4. Yea but I can remain hopeful, the barrier range has to be half decent. I would really hate it to have the tiny circle around them
  5. I actually really like this idea since some classes can use a weapon in a unorthodox way. My hope it's attack animation is alittle quicker than show cased and has a range of 600.
  6. I still can't stand the new quickness changes I wish they were reverted. I like everything else so far. It feels bad using function gyro to get quickness id rather just have the wells for quickness.
  7. i think the scrapper changes are moving in a positive direction, not enough to make them viable in competitive PVE game options. (without misusing untended proc'ing effects) Surprised that there was no actual Ranger changes minus the pet changes. Though i was hoping for Sun bears be become a pet. 🙃 (and a good pet)
  8. 10k DPS for open world is pretty low, with all the boons scrapper has access too in cele gear only 10k? Any ranger build or rev build for open world with Cele can do about 20k with high durability. Our opinions may differ but the fact is that scrapper isn't in a good spot. Sure your trying to give some possible light to scrapper, the build isn't more complicated, it's just less fun. Cele gear shouldn't be the bandaid to hold a class together.

I'm not sure how you can claim scrapper is still good in open world, they don't have enough sustain without building bulky to solo bounties, with the quickness changes it's not all that fun to maintain quickness. And there damage is lack luster compared to other classes that can do the samething with much higher DPS output. There isn't enough passive damage increases in the engineer trait lines to make scrapper compete with any other build currently. Before the hard nerfs recently I was able to do 33k with perm quickness and superspeed. Now you can't keep up quickness very well without blowing your gyro for the now blast finisher. In WvW scrapper is sorta okay /good if your roaming I personally and probably alot of others enjoyed the previous version of scrapper to current scrapper. With weaponmaster now a thing every other class with a hammer out performs scrapper with better options for most situations. They need to passively increase the damage for scrapper take the eternal cooldown off the quickness trait and let them finisher multiple fields at the same time to make up for the loses. Scrappers barrier trait needs to be buffed in PvE and give them alot more access to protection for them to be able to do solo bounty / champs. Hammer tempest can keep up buffed protection (45%) up like 95% of the time while keeping aloy of might and passive healing, quick herald can solo pretty much anything it wants with higher DPS than scrapper. While Anet has the golden child guardian scrapper is it's adopted burried and forgotten cousin that keeps getting kicked while already down. Yes I'm salty scrapper was my favorite class and play style and it's impossible to fill that void for me since it's no longer enjoyable imo. they need to add whirl combo finishers in to generate quickness, impact savont needs to be brought up to 12% and a health way to get easy access to protection. and i flat like 12-15% damage increase, to make them more competitive.
  10. So I've been playing GW2 on and off since launch, I've enjoyed the gem store items and invest alot in the gem store because I want to support the game as much as possible. My issue right now is I've spend probably close to 5-6 thousand dollars over the years on black Lion keys and never have I ever managed to get a super rare item like any of the contracts etc. It isn't super rare it should be named literally impossible. I bought 100 keys yesterday with 2 chances of getting a super rare item with the infusions being in the second bag, couldn't really get anything in the super rare items. Usually I get 1-2 maybe 3 rares per 100 keys. But never have I gotten a single super rare.. I think the odds need to be changed or maybe some how I'm unable to get super rares...
  11. i see nothing said about scrapper for follow up, quickness is no longer sustainable without alot of gear swapping and its a heck of alot less fun.
  12. okay, beta event: why in the Mooseman bull butt are we giving rifle to daredevil? in WvW its literally impossible to get them. ill admit im not the best player to face a daredevil at the best of times now its like fighting something with extreme mobility and infinite stealth. this is toxic in my opinion

Yea I've been trying quick scrapper in fractals I can't keep up quickness at all because there is a internal cooldown when procing quickness so you can make a water field and blast it once or maybe twice, with 5 3 2 hammer I can maybe 30% of the time trying to utilize motar kit combo fields isn't enough because everything else to use the field is on cd. I'm not sure what anet was thinking but it seems since scrapper was released all they have done is nerfed it to the ground. Someone finds a fun way to play they need it some more. It's like they just want everyone to forget about scrapper completely. On the other hand mirage is so busted atm in wvw all you fight are mirages maybe we need to roll mirage...... It is really starting to come off as anet doesn't want class uniqueness and flavor but everyone is force fed the same cereal.

Hello everyone, I recently started playing condi soulbeast (celestial) dagger dagger shortbow, in wvw and I'm really enjoying it but I'm also wanting to get into fractals and raida in the near future. Is soulbeast good in these sets of PvE? I used to play quickness scrapper for fractals but with the up coming changes I feel like changing things up myself. I would appreciate your opinions and feedback Thank you everyone!
  15. instictive engage: on the wiki states its losing its ammo and but gets a cooldown reduction and Power increase. Dagger is basically strictly used for Condition builds could poison or bleed be added to the skill? Traps why is spike trap and healing spring get the cooldown reduction but not anything else? there are 5 traps total and only 2 get it? could dagger auto attack chain be alittle more or less deadly delivery getting a cd reduction?
  16. I'd like to see bomb kit for engi get a rework. Like roll the bombs at the enemies increase there damage by 15% Big ol' bomb should roll aswell and detonates after it's timed roll. You'd at least see some people fart around with it in wvw and PvE. Otherwise grenade kit will always outside other kits like bomb kit. Then at least you could toss a couple people every once and awhile off a wall or something with big ol' bomb rolling. I know it sounds funny but we need to do something with the under used kits.
  17. I'd like to see a rework to bomb kit, since is actually work than nades. Like roll the bombs to the enemy same with big ol' bomb. This could give it some usefulness and fun if you roll big ol' bomb into enemy players to send a few flying. And the damage increased.
  18. I don't see a real issue, the original FB was brokenly powerful and godlike in the right hands. Just like other classes they have either been reworked or nuked In to a crater compared to what they used to be. Maybe it's time to try something new?
  19. Great day everyone! I'm horrible and choosing classes to play in any game, I've had a good chunk of time playing now in open world and WvW. (Wvw rank 500). Most of this has been played on a ranger. Im looking for opinions for thief or Mesmer, they both have blinks / Dash's to get away if needed they both can do nasty single target. In wvw I play usually in small 5-10 man groups and solo. I want a class that is good at both open world and WvW which the possibility of doing raids in the future (won't be shund from raid based on class) What would you recommend?
  20. Rapid regen Doesn't this still make the trait useless in wvw? Since it's basically impossible to stack up superspeed or keep it up to get any benefit from it?
  21. I was hoping scrappers hammer skills would get buffed alittle. Like skill 2 strikes increased from 2 to 3. And maybe the missile reflect during its animation increased by 1 second.
  22. Good day, I've been trying to enjoy my hammer scrapper in WvW and with the superspeed nerfs and quickness delete it's really hard to make them feel good in a melee fight. Could the super speed on gyro be increased to 2 seconds and the quickness be reinstated as only self quickness for 2-3 seconds? I understand it was removed due to other Builds but it really feels very slow and chunky. I think alot of us are open to some sort change on this maybe give it a internal cd of 2-4 seconds so you can't spam it as easily ? Or add it to the hammer auto attack combo so there at higher risk of getting deleted in combat? Rifle is fine in my opinion it needed a nerf is some regard
  23. after watching and listening to the broad cast and Muk / teapot this really only forces you to play staff/ staff for alac uptime while losing some dps as you can no longer sustain the alac uptime playing Staff / axe +. it is a nerf but not as bad as i once thought. because this means all your staff clones will no longer pulse there boons but instead you get there pulse so 1 second plus 3 clones is 4 seconds of up time plus the 8 stacks of might. this was entended to make you choose damage or boon support but not both.
  24. Extremely hard nerf, they reverted a similar change earlier but apparently they feel they need to nail this coffin shut chain it and dump it in the ocean.
