Just happened again at "During Hearts and Minds" 😞

Oh dear... looks like its been a problem for a long time and they've not done anything to sort it 😞

My friend and I started playing GW2 about 2 months ago, we've played through vanilla content, started HOTs and we are working through Living World stuff as it becomes availible. Throughout ALL this time, it is so frequent that either one of us or both of us "disconnects" after a brief lag period, and gets kicked out to the character select screen. If one of us has disconnected during a story mission, we can not reconnect and that one person has to do it from scratch. When both of us disconnect, which happens frequently, we have to both start from scratch again. This happened a LOT towards the end of vanilla, and is happening quite a bit in LW. The latest one was "Bitter Harvest" in LW. Which keeps disconnecting one or both of us about half way through. So we have to go solo, defeating the point of us playing together or the option to play together being a thing. Does anyone know why this is happening or have possible suggestions to stop it happening any more, its ruining our experience. Thank you. If you want more information feel free to ask.
