Just a question, I was watching some videos on YT and found some fractal run videos, watched all of them, just so I learn mechanics from those, one thing I realized that,
If we look at scourge, it is doing insane DPS, have epidemic as its utility, shares barrier
If we look at firebrand, its doing insane DPS, has strong heals even in DPS gear, can share boons by just pressing some buttons, is able to skip not even talking about the cleave and the abuse of the most broken condition, burning... If we talk about this, why does burning has that high of a damage?
First of all, why do condi classes are favored in fractals? Fractals should be some kind of end game content, and even tho it is allowed and favored to go for fractals with a damage type what basically needs only 2 stats, the other 2/1 stat in the gear can be full defense... While power classes require 3 stats atleast
If we look to other classes, like thief for example, I see it as balanced, doing a lot of DPS, but cannot survive that easily as FB, neither support their group
Slb is kinda able to support and buff with stance share but lets all remember that the other classes, FB and Necro take no different trait or anything for them to be close enough to keep alive/buff a whole city
Not a rant or anything, just curious that if this is all true or not, and if it is, why does ANet allow such thing
