Hi Guys, Since about 3 days ago i'm experiencing crashes every time i open up the gem store. Game runs normal, smooth without problems. I can use the trading market to sell and purchase items but once i open the gem store my game completely crashes. From the crash log it clearly states that it's got some problem with Arc DPS. I removed ArcDPS from my files but for some reason it keeps re-appearing in my game files. Anyone else have this problem? How do i remove ArcDPS from my game files permanently? (or do i maybe need to update ArcDPS?) Thank you, Have a great day.

I've played for a week or so now so i don't have much experience. Even though i was excited about pvp, my prospects of actually getting better at it are really depressing. I have absolutely no idea what is happening to my character. From a noob's perspective i really don't feel like getting into PVP. Every match it's a slaughterfest with little to no enjoyment. Either every player i get matched up with is a God or i'm just completely incapable of grasping the game's pvp system.

Trying to complete this for the latest return to story achievement. But it just gets stuck after taking down Kralkatorrik. Everyone just stands there in silence. I can't do anything except run around or exit the instance. Which does not give me credit for completing the story.

AFK farming is against TOS. Send them a message in game, if they don't respond. Report them. I don't know if they actually get banned though.

I much prefer elite specs to new classes. Having played WoW for a long time. The elite specs are, imo, a far better design choice. In WoW classes get overhauled expansion but i'm still playing the same thing. The same class fantasy,.... In GW2 every elite specs brings new class fantasy, new way to play, new meta, ... I'm much more excited about what Anet will do with the next elite spec for my guardian comared to what will my rotation be this patch on WoW. While i can definitely see imbalance between the specs, especially compared to core specs it's not like there is only just one useful spec for each class. You can be effective in roughly all content with every spec. Yes in the high end pve and pvp content you need to min max and run meta builds. But that's not any different in any other game and it's to be expected.

I'm sorry but this seems pretty ridiculous to me. You're complaining that you have to pay for content? Lol Anet even giving away seasons for free over the weeks leading up to EoD.

There are a couple of areas in the game where i've seen groups of people (mainly necros, engis and revenants) spam abilities to kill the handfull of mobs that spawn there every XX:XX. Eventually i even got a video recommended to me on youtube where a guy explained how to efficiently autofarm a single spot. While i understand that people don't feel the desire to farm stuff actively, i feel like this goes against the spirit of the game even if they aren't running a script and are doing it in some other way and are technically 'not botting'. I'm curious what the community consensus is on this activity and if it's okay to report them for botting?

I enjoy the story fights. Most of them are pretty enjoyable. Of course they're no raid battles but they hold up their own. I agree some fights are annoying and badly designed. Although the vast majority ranges from fine to good. In fact the fight of ''A kindness repaid" is one of the better ones in my opinion. Also, the story fights aren't meant to be hard or loseable. You are meant to win them so you can progress to the story, it is by design. I agree that the zones being blocked by story can be annoying for alts. Though i don't see why this justifies this level of frustration. Also, 'fun' is subjective. As evidenced here where i enjoy most of the fights and you don't. While this is a ranty post with i do hope the devs take posts like this serious as there is valuable feedback in them even though i do not agree with you.

I only have noble crash site and the ordnance corps left. I've done both event chains twice but to completion from start but i don't get any credit to the achievement. What's going on?

Small note of feedback: The skills icons (weapon, healing, utility & elite) look out of place for all three specializations. The background of the icons looks too clean and does not align nicely with other skills. Judging by other elite specs this seems to get fixed closer to launch but figured i'd share my thoughts.

This doesn't need a nerf. I would say that allowing platforms that killed their champions to hop to others is a good addition. I've tried 4 times today, failed all 4 because one platform didn't have any players. Sometimes this is due to no brains just staying in lane other times i've had 3 or even 4 people on my platform and other platforms completely empty. We stood there watching the champ stand there in the middle undefeated for over a minute and a half.

Another instance of this happening, Killed Balthazar in the 'To kill a god mission'. got disconnected after the cinematic. This bug goes all the way back to 2017. The 'i can't reproduce it' argument doesn't really hold up after 4 years lol. I love this game but it's honestly ridiculous that a showstopping bug has been in the game for 4 years even after this amount of people report it.

Just adding another story here. Trying to finish the mission 'Frozen Out', after fighting the Ice Beast during the convo between Braham and Rox i get booted out. It seems to happen during conversations, For people saying that it may be hardware, location, router, ... I've literally moved locations, changed PC, router and internet provider. These changes were unrelated to GW2 as they were normal events that caused these changes to happen. But i'm pretty sure this is 100% on Anet's side. I love this game, this isn't going to cause me to quit playing. Regardless it's immensely frustrating when i have to replay the same mission 3-5 times just because a bug in the game is kicking me out. This is even worse when i'm trying to get an achievement.

Is there any solution? Just got disconnected after defeating the end boss. This is getting very tiresome.

This has probably been repeated hundreds of times but i'm getting disconnected during story missions often. Can Anet please just fix it so that you can just pick up the story from where you left off. This is infuriating lol, Second time i've been disconnected at the end of a story mission. Almost threw my pc out the window.
