  1. Did Amala (meta) twice. Did the pre-events etc. No credit for completing it. Another recap with broken achievements
  2. NO There are plenty of names available. Use your imagination. This is the stupidest suggestion I ever read, on top of that the timeline of 18months is incredibly short. You're only thinking about what you want. What about the people who would lose their names? It's unfair to them. It's unfair to me. When I was playing AION, I lost a lot of my character names because NCsoft did a similar thing that you're suggesting and I was more than just upset. They did a server merger and whenever a merger happened, the names that were identical were somewhat free for the taking. I had a couple of rare names but because I took a break for a few months and didn't even know a merger was happening, I lost all those names. If ArenaNet does this, it will be the biggest scumbag move in the entire company history.
  3. - Invisible marker fix when? If the group wipes and resets the boss fight, the marker becomes invisible until the boss targets someone unmarked. (This seems to be partially fixed because it used to disappear permanently and you would have to restart the entire fractal.) - Ice Elemental random AoE damage, knockback fix when? This one has been around for years and I'm surprised nobody has ever talked about it. This happens *every* time with the Ice Elemental boss. There is an attack that the Ice Elemental boss does; it's when he charges his attack and gains a purple "glow" effect while charging. At the end of it, he slams the ground. There's a weird bug with this one where the player gets hit by a powerful AoE knockback at random. It can be at the start of the charging animation or half way through. It's completely random. Sometimes he will just casually walk (chase target) and do the AoE (no animation). Sometimes the slam he does at the end doesn't do anything. Basically it's impossible to predict it & dodge because there are no visible cues for it. I'm not 100% sure but I think it also ignores stability. Somehow the skill effect (damage AoE) is out of sync and triggers too early instead of when he does the slam attack which is what I presume is happening here.
  4. Please add checkpoints for Sunqua Peak boss fight. Same as Twilight Oasis. One checkpoint at the beginning of fire phase and one at the beginning of water phase. At least one checkpoint at the start of fire phase would be perfect. The boss fight is far too difficult especially when paired with nasty instabilities. A large majority of groups fail this fight or avoid the fractal entirely. It's extremely unbalanced compared to other fractals. Fractals needed to have their difficulty increased but you went too far with this one and turned it up to 11. It needs to be toned down to the level of difficulty all the other fractals are. This isn't a raid so it shouldn't be as difficult as a raid. You say you listen to the community, but considering you haven't done anything to balanced this fractal despite the community complaints, proves otherwise.
  5. Wiki has been unresponsive since yesterday. It's either slow or throws error 503. Trading Post is laggy, gemshop window sometimes doesn't load. Constantly being spammed by Login server error messages. It's been like this all day. I got disconnected twice today. No it's not my connection. GW2 is the only thing that's lagging & wiki. There's clearly something going on with the servers.
  6. TP was giving me copper each time a buy order was completed. There is inconsistency with it so I'm unable to replicate it. The items I noticed causing this were T6 Powerful Venom Sacs. I'm not certain which, but a few other materials also came with free copper (T3 Scales possibly). How the bug works; When a buy order completes, the item shows up in TP ready for pickup along with 1copper. The copper you receive is based on each sale, so regardless if you buy 1 Powerful Venom Sac or 100 in bulk, you only receive 1 copper per fulfilled order, not per item. The amount you receive as you can see is very insignificant, but it is still a bug. Here's a screenshot I took approximately 5min ago: https://i.imgur.com/YetHQxQ.png
  7. I did full RIBA and the DR hits me almost right away. I even left and did WvW for like 15-20min and when I came back to RIBA, 10min later I'm getting 10% XP from events again. It's not like I'm farming the same event over and over. Like I said in my previous post, I ran with the squad around the entire map, doing all the events but I still got hit with DR. The only reason why I even went out of my way to specifically farm Tyria XP as fast as possible is because I was tired of spamming "F" to pickup loot. You do an event with lots of mobs and your finger starts to hurt pretty fast. I don't think people with masteries remember just how bad it really is. I think ArenaNet is pretty scummy to lock an essential feature like that behind a mastery, not to mention the highest tier mastery. That's a lot of XP to farm. The final tier alone is like over 4mil XP. If each event gives you 20k, that takes a lot of time so of course I wanted to do it as efficiently as I can.
  8. That's the anti-botting thing right? Seems like a flawed system if it tagged me for doing what I was supposed to do; the map meta. This is the first time I ever experienced anything like this. I guess all the Escort/Veteran events are treated the same so the "DR" system that's in place thinks I'm doing the "exact" same event over and over again even though I'm killing different Veterans and doing multiple Escort events. That's the only explanation I can think of. If that's the case then Silverwastes is pretty terrible for XP IMO.
  9. I was doing RIBA yesterday in Silverwastes because I heard it's great for Tyria XP and I wanted to get the final mastery done with so I could get auto-loot pickup. Within just 10-15min I started noticing the events barely give any XP. Escort and the Champions/Veteran Events seemed to give the least, a measly 2.6k XP. Defending the towers would give me random XP. Some towers would give around 20k, others only 4k or so. Often times I would get more XP from getting Silver on an Event in comparison to Gold. For example, doing Escort, I would get 2.6k with Gold reward but slightly over 7k for Silver. How does that even work? I ran around the map with the commander, copying what he did, killing enemies etc. but I feel like I was the only one being penalized. I read that GW2 has some anti-botting system in place but I don't see how I could get tagged for botting when I was literally running around the whole map doing pretty much every Event that appeared. I was just really annoyed yesterday because I wasted the very few XP boosters I have and some of the enemies I killed actually gave me more XP than an entire Event did. It makes no sense. https://i.imgur.com/VBlvOjC.png
