For me this is what happened: - I never played this story back in 2013 when it was introduced - I started Episode 1 on Tuesday, got to the point where I talked to the agent and got the green circles for the Diessa locations - As a completionist I saw the [Optional] tag so I went first to Wayfarer and interacted with the first two encoded dead drop on the list (the two north one) - Since I got only one point out of 12 in the Secret Contact achievement I thought I have to finish Diessa first so I went and finished the 6 Diessa dead drops - At that point since the other reqs for moving on with the story in Diessa were already done the story moved on and the Encoded Dead Drops disappeared on both maps. I though no problem I'll replay later. - So finished the story and started replaying - Arrived to the part where I had to talk to the agent again, got the green circles in Diessa but no Encoded Dead Drops, so I tried to character logout and login - the Encoded Dead Drops appeared in Diessa so I finished collecting those 6 and I was making sure the other req (helping Diessa events) was not done yet so the story stayed at that checkpoint, and went to Wayfarer - There I didn't see the two north dead drops but was able to see and finish the other 5 down south, so now I am stuck with a 11/12 accomplishment in Secret Contact, but do not know which dead drop is missing since I cannot interact with the last two - I tried everything I could to no avail Hope this helps to track down the issue.
  2. Trying to finish the Secret Contact achievement, I'm at 10/12 and I ran into the issue that the Encoded Dead Drop does not appear where it supposed to be. I saw all of them in Diessa Plat, and 5 of them in Wayfarer but the last two (Base of a steam vent and icy meadow) up north are invisible to my character. I tried and retried to: replay the (full) story re-request the email with the list logging out and back in all the above in combinations
  3. Allow any combination of teams. Let users opt-in to queues (team of 2 3 4 or 5) Examples: while match a team of 3 only with a team of 3, also include in the matching process all teams of 2 and individuals who opted in to the team of 3 queue.Individual opted in to team of 2 and 3 queues so he'll be matched with solo players and teams of 2/3 You're in a team of 3 and your team opted in to 4 and 5 queues so you can be matched against a team of 5 with 2 solo players or a team of 2 who also opted in to the team 5 queueetc.If you do not like the odds against teams, you can solo only and wait until there'll be 9 other solo player available.
  4. It's not about the spirit shards. If I do not wish to acquire the new mount like never, then I'll never get any XP rewards on any PoF map anymore. Well: HELL NO! I agree with OP, xp progression shouldn't be blocked for still locked masteries.
  5. Yes the checkpoints are definitely gone. I have to do over and over again the fight on the bridge when I fail on the laser achievement. :(
  6. The OP is right. It's not that others killing it fast. And it definitely does not spawn every 15 minutes. The bug that it appears for half a second and seen only on the minimap is real. It does that (as the wiki page mentions that as possible alternative spawn point) in the upper left corner of Far Silverwastes When I did it on Wednesday it was a large group, we waited at least 45 minutes for the first spawn, it was the minimap half second bip, then the second was about a half an hour later and even with the large group it went down relatively slower than a seconds and most of us could get a hit. (The worst part of the collection are the worms, especially the Desolation one.)
  7. Looks like the story instance has also has some issue (someone pointed out in the network thread a possible mem leak). The farthest I could get is: out of X tries I DC sooner than the above, sometimes even on the loading screen
