  1. earth's embrace competes with elemental shielding . Which got buffed recently. So droping prot for a trade off of barrier is a big no , imo
  2. the idea of having traits than passive skills shoved in traits is a good idea . The execution is incorrect in a true Arena Net way -Final shielding could give aegis when health drop to a threshold. that makes reactive game play a better meaning -Earth's embrace barrier is weird, since it's casted only on self on a support trait line (?) i guess gale song prot is ok since it synergize well with hardy conduit , It's a reactive gameplay to have prot on demand
  3. that's a good idea. But there's the GM traits too. That said , you could easily boon duration caped with gear and make quickness uptime almost 100% , which will end up in catalyst stack aka more dps nerfs . if devs want to push this change they should add quickness to sphere specialist ( only for air and keep the boon duration extend) . Meaning : you focus on dps more instead of maintain the boon duration ,when hammer is nerfed more now . And finally , there's a reason why in the other classes they added the quickness in GM traits and not in the middle ones .
  4. positive changes overall , but i think the energy is counterproductive especially with sypport catalyst . Some people said that orb mechanic should be ammo based rather than energy and i completely agree on that matter . Also water orb , should be a water field

  6. As the title says all the achievements were wiped and the titles also.i checked my account to see if my Gw1 account was active and it is. help?
  7. Catalyst so far : hammer weapon : the damage is low and the weapon itself is slow . Idea: fire attunement : keep the speed as it is but increase the damage on weapon 2 and 4 . Weapon 5 need its cast time reduce water attunement :since it is melee needs some sustain . weapon 2 might heal the caster instead air attunement :is fine imo earth attunement : weapon 5 need its cast time reduce Spec mechanic: The cooldown of the sphere itself in such small duration and energy build up is VERY big. It disrupts the flow of the spec and makes the spec worst than core ele . Since the attunements themselves has cooldowns i don't see the reason the sphere to have one . Also , the energy ramp up should build faster than drained . Utility skills : Shattering ice should give a follow up attack up to 150% of weapon damage

  9. so far : 1) building up energy (only in combat) feels very slow (tested only on hammer) and it's unrewarding in a fast pasted fractal senario where catalyst has to end the spheres combo 2) i don't see the reason why should lose all energy -and has to slowly build up again in pve - with the F5 skill
  10. Sphere's has no energy and end prematurely edit :it's combat only . Should it work that way ?
