No, as seen here in Malchors Leap https://imgur.com/a/U8Wlpym the shadows do work, but many areas of the game like mentioned earlier with two imgur images nothing really has shadows unless you are in very clear sunny areas I guess. Anyways, lot of jumping puzzles gets kinda hard, well not that hard but just frustrating to try land my character on something floating when I can't really see a shadow.

  4. It has nothing to do with DX11, I have tried with that on and off and different graphics settings. Here's an image where I stand next to a torch, my model does not give any shadow, https://imgur.com/a/CMimoqw I have reinstalled the game, clean from scratch everything just in case, removed everything from appdata, fully clean installation. I can't be the only one missing shadows where there clearly is light (I'm not missing shadow everywhere, but a lot of places the shadows just don't work).

  6. By some reason my character and, well, everything, does not produce any shadows a lot of places in the world (new and old). Trying to do a lot of the jump puzzles to get the skyscale mount, but without any shadows in most of them it's not that much fun when missing a platform... It seems the shadows from stuff (like myself) disappears if there's is a little shadow from something else like where I am now "Goemms lab" in Metrica Province. Any bush that gives a little shadow just makes my shadow "blend" with it I guess, its by no means shadowy here it's quite light. So if the area I'm in is not perfect sunny sands of the desert my shadow just poof. Have tried different settings, dx11 on or off, graphics settings low to ultra on shadows and other stuff, nothing produces shadows or makes them more visible, just less grainy I guess from low to ultra. As said this makes the jumping puzzles a little difficult some places (even missing it in the jumping puzzle in the volcano... quite lighty there), and just looks strange. I have no "addons" just plain gool old fashioned gw2.
  7. I have an issue where the achievement "Master of the Ancestral Forge" does not register the "Restored Boreal Dagger". I started the achievement with the Urgent Vigil Letter without any weapons in case that is a question. Got weapon smithing on my character so bought the other weapons on trading post and created the ones with weapons smithing myself (shield, sword, dagger, etc.). After equipping the weapons / unlocking skin the achievement registered all but the dagger. Tried getting another dagger, still not working, so now I got two in my inventory bound to my account (can't sell them on trading post), achievement still at 16/17 with only the dagger missing. Created a ticket and was told to make a bug report here.
  8. What am I doing wrong here. I manage to get up to the top of the clock tower jumping race, and on the last stairs you wait for the clock window to break by lightning of some kind. Every time I jump into it (after it has been broken, that is usually another turn of the tower that I am waiting after I get to the top) I seem to hit an invisible wall at the crack and just falling down and failing. I have managed to get into the crack in the glass 1 out of 10 times now, and its frustrating. I have looked at youtube videos and they seem to jump fine into the crack without hitting a "wall". I could make a video with game capture in windows 10, but no idea how to post it if that is any help.
  9. Same, treasure hunt was due to start 16:30 CEST (5 min wait before so it starts 16:35), round one completed, then around a minute into round 2 it crashed. Restarted the game and got into a map that had treasure hunt starting in 5 minutes (time was then 16:41, so the treasure hunt round 1 in that map started at 16:46), 1 minute into round 2 of that map (16:52 ish) the game crashed again. Restarted the game and got in a map where treasure hunter was completed.... 2 maps in a row today with crash, and 3 days in a row with crash on the same part of treasure hunt (round 2) Edit: third time today, just crashed as soon as the second part started... this is starting to be quiet stupid Edit 2: lol, crashed again, right after I logged in after the crash....
