  1. Please tell me, I mainly just tried to make a suggestion based off of the gift giving protections other platforms (like steam) have to help safeguard gifters and the like, but if GW2 has a strong reason for it to not need one then I'd love to hear it!
  2. My copper-fed, silver-fed and runecrafter salvage o matics do not break down items gained on the way to getting the aurora legendary item, and therefore do not give me the unbound magic. A box pops up to confirm my choice, but clicking "yes" does not do anything.
  3. Hello! I recently ran into a situation where I attempted to give a surprise gift to a friend of mine in Guild Wars 2! Unfortunately, the gemstore did not tell me at all that my friend had already owned the item. This was only revealed to me once I already spent the 500 gems on the item and they had informed me they already own the skin, and that those items are now essentially overpriced, low-functioning transmutation charges. They could not refuse or return the item. To get my gems back and refunded, I had to go out of my way to create a support ticket. Most games/platforms I know that support a gifting function typically have ways to allow the gift receiver to return the item to the sender (To help avoid cases like emotional/monetary blackmail, harassment, stalking, or just generally not accepting gifts either out of kindness or because they already have one.) but Guildwars currently has no function to not only allow the receiver to return the item, but to also warn the buyer that the individual already owns the item before they buy it. I'd love to give more gifts in GuildWars 2 but this makes it more difficult than it really should be when it turns out that I gave my friend a gift they already own. I know the support ticket feature exists for a reason but I'd love to see Arenanet implement protections for buyers and receivers in this regard!
  4. I think those examples are absolutely adorable! I'd agree that the armadillo you linked looked rather hostile, though there's an armadillo skin that I think already looks really cute!
  5. I will structure my suggestion to developers and design artists of this game to include the wonderful animal and nature that is capybaras into three categories. A: Coconut Doggies They are unbelievably serene creatures, they eat plant matter and live most of their life by, or in water. They only mate in water as well. There are dozens of pictures online of capybaras just straight chilling with other animals like ducks or dogs. They don't care, they're just vibing. Speaking of vibing: B: Okay I Pull Up They have already made their impact into western meme culture and would be a popular pick amongst many players in the community. Guilds are already being created just for the sole purpose of sponsoring the amazing naturalist citizenry that is capybaras. I feel like it would encourage players (especially me) to unlock a majority of my black lion chests along with paying for them on the market. C: Asian Animals They fit well with the theme of the next expansion: End of Dragons! Although they are primarily present in south American regions, they are also featured in around 59 (!!!) parks in Japan! I feel like if there was ever a time to introduce this wonderful creature, it would be during the magnum opus of Guild Wars as a series: End of Dragons! Thank you, I look forward to constructive feedback from the community along with feverous support to help introduce these wonderful guinea pigs to the world Tyria!
