  1. hi the new weapon seems to have two movement skills, Valiant Leap and Line Breaker. but they do not seem to gain benefits from traits that should affect movement skills like Brave Stride or possibly Warrior's Sprint.
  2. I'd like to see armor skins for some clothes the NPCs wear around Warrior's Crown. Backsmith Fairchyld and Jodi, for examples.
  3. that's a great fix for "all these hundreds of different types of junk items fill up my bag spots and could I maybe get items that are more useful" unfortunately, it doesn't fix "this trophy is what, an event or heart item I would need to wiki to find out where it goes? If the heart NPC even accepts trophies after doing the heart. Can't be vendored, so delete? Maybe I didn't even finish the heart or it's repeatable, is it worth the bag space to save?" or "this was a great item I bought from the heart vendor/ got from my story quest, but now that I have the skin, I don't need the item anymore--it can't be salvaged or sold so, apparently just delete?" or "I think this trophy might be for a collection I haven't opened yet? It didn't sell as junk, doesn't have a useful legend, and also doesn't have a collection on right click menu. So maybe I can vendor or delete it? Or I could save it just to be sure?" or "how many sonic periscope logs do i actually need to turn in? Maybe I should finish that one collection." a lot of those kinds of things can only be deleted (or potentially turned in if you travel to that one particular NPC). Some of the same types of items (random trophies that don't seem to go to anything as far as you can tell) do have a vendor value, but others don't. And like Dark said, the usage of "trophy" is ambiguous since it refers to more than one type/usage of item. We could have "hunting trophies" (the stuff you can sell as junk), "collection trophies", and "quest trophies". Or totally different names for all 3.
  4. agreed. and can we have a small vendor value on all the stuff that doesn't have anything to do with it after finishing the heart/event/etc and the karma things that won't salvage too. deleting things I no longer need feels bad to me.
  5. oh! also staff on warrior is awesome. inventive, engaging, and useful . feels different to staff on thief also, which is great kudos to the team(s) that produced this 🙂
  6. ok I checked on this and apparently Wizard Vault doesn't show the progress (like it would for kill 100 risen or whatever). However there is progress in the hero panel achievements tab. So it's working just no visual indicator in the vault itself. by the way, the reason i say deathblow might not be the best way to count stuff is that this is generally a cooperative game (even in competitive modes), and if just 1 player (or 1 allied entity?) can get the deathblow that disrupts cooperative play.
  7. I agree that the system could be improved somewhat, but I wouldn't want people to be able to stack everything. However one more slot would be welcome. I'd also like to see the modules labeled with what kind of spot they go in--some seem unclear to me and I keep having to look it up (can I used x with y? no? hmm)
  8. although I have equipped a staff on my warrior and am busy defeating enemies, I have 0 credits for deathblows. Not sure if deathblow is a great mechanic as there are often other players and NPCs around. However, even if I am totally alone (no NPC nor other player in sight, much less helping defeat an enemy) I do not get credit. Deathblow is not defined in the wiki, by the way. I'm assuming it means either the last hit that kills an enemy, or a big hit on an enemy that is defeated. Enemy I'm using for any PvE hostile, or any PvP or WvW player on an opposing team.
  9. doing a rift in sparklefly fen is not awarding daily. Another player that came to rift mentioned the same problem.
  10. I'd really like to see a medium sized tag available. There's a large difference between a party of 5 and a squad of 50. It would be nice to have a tag for an intermediate sized group. Say a circle or crescent shaped tag (or something else sufficiently different to existing tags) with a small selection of colors, allowing a group of up to 20 players, for 150 g. Perhaps with a prerequisite besides the gold.
  11. tho I agree with the others that medium armor is considerably more challenging due to most skins for medium being long coats. There should definitely be some long coats, but not 90% long coats. I also want more boot variety especially in medium which nearly all have large cuffs.
  12. I really enjoy how many customization options are in this game, and how easy it is to change things up.
  13. I think the banks are normally fine. but when i can't tell where the road is based on my minimap and I have to open the big map every 5 steps just to stay on the road, that's where i feel it could have gone better
  14. could we merge dyes and wardrobe to the same window? The dyes carry over from your last selections, and i might like the outcome best if I could adjust the dyes at the same time as I'm adjusting the skin.
  15. since i'm probably not going to read 40 pages, is there some kind of official answer about these disconnects? looks like the first thread merged into this mega thread is from 2017. i've even given up filing a bug report most of the time now. There's only 1 or 2 error codes I typically get.
  16. yea, this happens to me all the time. It's probably lion's share my ISP's fault for not upgrading internet backbone servers and making the wrong choice on internet infrastructure in my area, or whatever else is going wrong, but who can fix that issue? So I'd say apps need to be more resilient to packet loss or whatever is going on. Anet could give me the option to start at the furthest checkpoint I reached, if disconnected during a story instance, fractal, or so on.

  18. I agree with this, and I think that there should be a spot to save 1 weapon set as an alternate, that isn't swappable like the others are. A third and separate area in the equipment template. You would have to be out of combat and open the hero panel to change which one is designated alternate. That way if you don't normally need a bow in your WvW template (for an example of how this would be useful), but might swap to one when you're outside some walls with a pot of oil on it, you could change to bow, then rearrange back to the meta build you need for other WvW fights. It would be the same trouble as unequipping and re-equipping an exotic bow to replace whatever you normally play with, except it would work for legendary.
  19. I assumed there was a story reason for the lack of banks and BL trading posts in Cantha, related to previous lack of trade and so on. However, as time goes on this should appear, maybe added to a current mastery tier.

  21. I don't think changing builds while mounted is supported. However it would be nice if it were.
  22. I'm kind of confused by this advice. You want people to *both* sell all their crafting mats *and* craft. Unless you have a full bank of crafting mats or a full wallet of gold, I don't see how that would work. I see it as a choice: sell the mats and buy what you want *or* use the mats to craft.
