  1. Celestial changes elementalist to something so fun. It gives the class everything it needs for open world.
  2. Revenant: I have hammer, but I dont have hammer because it is completely useless outside WvW and why to this day Anet didn't touch this weapon still!!! PLEASE!! (also I love the utility lock, its chill, they are always pretty and most of them, useful) Elementalist: Lack of fun utilities, all elites from specs are trash and/or doesn't feel like an elite skill. Funny to see that this is the most healthy thread in this forum lol
  3. 10 years of GW2 and a you guys still didn't learn that this game open ups the possibilities of base archetypes? It should be normal at this point to see these different takes on them.
  4. I think they are a problem. In the end I just hope they give up the mandatory boon sharing of quickness and alacrity. Let healers heal and provide boons like might, fury, prot with specifics traits that affect their damage and make them a support. And DPSs have access to self quickness making them a part of the rotation as a burst window. They already started implementing boons as part of traits that ties to the class mechanics, just improve on that and the hell of mandatory boons will fade.

  6. I would love if they released the legends too and the elite specs traits could be to improve the mechanics and the power of the legend, as the core one does. Rev is a special case anyway. And adding, please rework hammer and shield!!!
  7. EoD specs need a lot of tuning to be better. I still hope that they move the hammer orbs to the jade sphere or attunement itself. Bladesworn made me retire my warrior, it is so clunky and I hate samurai fantasy, so not for me.
  8. I agree with you. Since chronomancer endgame PvE were doomed because of boons. Instead of making them more strategic or boon sharing tied to combos, they just gave it to every class in the most lazy way possible, just to have it. I knew that the game would get to this stage when they capped bons to 5 man only.
  9. Is this what they call a massive patch?? Serously?? Is this what they mean with revisiting older weapons? Jesus, this company.... I doubt they are holding the really important thing, not these kitten boring damage to show later. Oh my god, what a joke.

  11. I prefer catalyst because i like the hammer skills. It has a good amount of aoe, but without the casting of tempest, its more fast paced. Second is weaver on bosses. Tempest I only use when Im tired and want a layback playstyle.
  12. Elementalist has problems, but its a class that make the other onse seems so dull because it feels good to play, the effects are awesome. Its a dangerous choice. Abou the low status, you can play with celestial (the one that has all status) and do very well. The level 80 booster gives a full celestial gear. I only play cele elementalist in OW and feels really great.
  13. I hope that one day they move the orbs to be summoned whenever you summon the jade sphere, so it becomes a catalyst mechanic, not a hammer mechanic. Hammer needs more CC. But thats really better.
  14. Their mentality of bringing everything to mediocre level instead of using a class that is succeeding and bring other class to that level is tiring to see and deal with. The game needs serious reworks in older weapons, utilities and core traits to bring it up to todays standard but they still focus on minor things that arent even realistic. And I am an Ele main, we know about nerfs without any benefit on other sides.
  15. I meant gameplay wise and its bladesworn. I hated it so much. Catalyst is very clunky, yes, but at least some of hammer skills are fun in a place not so coordinated.
  16. The problem is that every other class gets boring really easy when you main elementalist. Nowdays I dont even play mages anymore, but in GW2 this class will always be in my heart. Unfortunately my other class got a terrible spec, even worst than catalyst speaking about open world.
  17. At least for open world is fun. The hammer is awesome, the best hammer of the game for me. The profession mechanic is fun to use, it feels different to control the pet skills.
  18. I hated bladesworn so much, so I rerolled to vindicator and loved it so much.
  19. For me is the adrenaline mechanic and how it interact with our actual specs. Berserker is very fun, crazy and have useful utilities that makes a difference. SB and the counter is very fun on bosses, the dagger is a cool set to use and because of that its the most fun class to play on pvp. I also love to be able to give support even when building offensive with might and banners, I feel useful in fractal and open world. The CC capability is very cool as well, its fun to 100-0 a breakbar everytime. Its a class that all specs will stil be relevant even after bladesword, speacially berserker as a condi.
  20. Are you guys forgetting that giant dash and the ranged one that can stun and are unblockable with the trait? I beleave that is the one you are going to use in competitive plays. Im just sad that it doesnt work as condi, I was hoping that we could do condi damage with the bullet part of the gunsaber, welp... at least berserker is very fun.
