  1. I'm fine with it being harder and understand the tone they were going for (I enjoy the idea of this meta being tense and down to the wire), but I also overall think higher of the community's skill than it often thinks of itself. This leads to how I see the problem: the end boss of Dragon's End is a big mess right now that needs tuning. The jump in skill doesn't feel too much higher from the previous metas and it's totally possible for casual players imo, it's the boss itself seems far too random in what it will do. I watched a good run yesterday lose due to the boss doing the tail mechanic nigh endlessly, meaning the whole thing repeatedly had to waste precious time turning around to go burn the tail. This doesn't count the fact the boss is possession of attacks that make them untargetable and also does at random, costing even more time if the boss decides to do them multiple times rather close together. Overall, it doesn't actually feel like a skill issue, it feels like you get lucky or you don't. This makes it extraordinarily frustrating, especially when the chat collapses into everyone yelling at and blaming each other when I don't think that's actually the issue.
  2. Alright, so I submitted a ticket about this and was redirected here, so here goes. I'll copy most of it to this thread: I recently purchased the Mage Knight Outfit with some of the gems from pre-ordering the expansion, very excited that it was finally back in the store one of the times I actually had gems to spend. I put it on my female norn, hid the headpiece, and then instantly noticed a massive issue. She has no neck. Just a blank hole where her neck should be. Due to her using one of the recently introduced faces, I thought it could initially be just an issue with that and so switched to my female norn ranger who has existed since 2013 and has one of the original faces. And nope! She also has no neck! At this point, I began to check my other characters, finding that that female sylvari, female human, and male human with the headgear hidden on this outfit do in fact have their necks, which I am assuming is the actual intent. After them, I went to my male norn to check the outfit on him. While it was significantly less noticeable, I discovered curiously that he, too, is lacking a neck when the headgear is hidden on this outfit. If at any point whoever would be the ones to work on these kinds of things can be shown this, please fix this. Norn deserve necks too. Additionally, as a very minor aside but related issue to armor modeling with norn which isn't a big deal but I also just feel like should be known is an issue and has been for a while: the medium Whispers boots (Whisper's Secret Boots) on male norn have little holes in the model that you can see the foot through on both boots. This isn't an issue on female norn, just male norn. I imagine their toes are getting rather cold like that.
  3. not referencing Wheel of Time, I'm referencing the Lady of the Lake; I get this way too often and wish I could change my account name. But thank you for not telling me you pull my hair! Also not the point of this discussion.
  4. Dragon Trigger is awful; taking it to fight something that has a high amount of knockdowns like say, a hydra, makes it impossible to actually use unless you're worthlessly firing it right away because you can't move and have to take so long for it to be worth it. It needs something, either charging significantly faster or immunity to CC while charging, otherwise the spec's main mechanic isn't worth actually using.
