I haven't played pvp in years now after I got my top 100 title, but was delighted to receive the Ultimate Shadow title yesterday. It suits my thief so well. I'm tempted to play again for the True Dragon and Ultimate Paragon titles, but I feel the state of pvp and toxicity might be worse now than it was when I stopped during the early PoF meta. Still, I might dip back in to see, although I don't know anything about the meta now. I hope this encourages more people to play pvp by putting in more goals, but I'm worried as well this might be a bit late. More really needs to be done to encourage pvp participation and reduce the toxicity. The thing I hated the most when I played was the 4v5 scenarios because people afk'd or maybe threw the game on purpose for the other team. All they would do is tap the arrow keys at base to not get caught. There needs to be a stronger deterrent for afk and faster action on reports. As I write this, I think I've discouraged myself from playing again...

This post is so entitled lol. You clearly deserve to be an Ultimate Legionnaire, but nothing else. If you want want to be the "ultimate" of something else, then get those wins on other classes. Don't cry for a free pass lol. Ps. Yay I'll be an Ultimate Shadow on 19 March

Yeah - same here. Just completed the meta but no chest. Is this a bug or did I miss something?

No. If you want the armor for the skin, then you will get it for the skin. It's like saying I have the gen 1 leggy greatsword and want a discount on the gen 2 and gen 3. I have all leggy armors and will be aiming to get all the new ones. So far, the costs seem quite reasonable and you have months to prepare for them since the costs are known now.

I'm really enjoying the expansion so far. To me, the story is probably the best of the expansions to date. It feels quite fresh and I love the darker tone and characters. It might be hit or miss, but I also enjoy the skywatch archipelago map which has references to old rata novus and droknars forge. I wasn't sure how I would feel about the reused assets for enemies, but they don't feel too bad tbh. They seem like more effort went into them than the void enemies in eod. I like the idea of the wizards fault, but probably needs some more tuning which others have suggested already. I'm open minded about the relic system. I think if they improve the range of relics available, it will be a welcome change and open up a lot more options than the rune system did. The loss of the rune system doesn't affect me too much. I feel power creep means that even with relic effects seeming less powerful on the whole so far, it doesn't greatly change things. For me, fashion is my favourite element of guild wars 2. I can't wait for the legendary armour to come later. I will happily buy future expansions if they continue to introduce new leggy weps and armours. I'm a bit disappointed that the currently introduced set of armors are the same for each weight class. I hope they can make more unique ones in future. All in all, a good start to the new expac system. I'd rather the new cadence than the content drought of previous expacs and not knowing whether there would be an expac or not. At least there seems to be a very solid plan in place now.

The game has never been this. You should find a different game. Your suggested changes all dumb down the game. No need to care for buffs, no need to care for positioning, no need to care for skill rotations. Please, the game has never been in this. You should find a different mmo if you hate the fundamental combat system of gw2.

Really liked everything I read in the blog. The timescale for the pve content and xpac was ahead of expectations, so that's great. I'm excited for the new wvw rewards and hope that alliances can become a permanent addition sooner. My guild is in a state of uncertainty over transferring because of it. The new monsters...Will be interesting to see their origins now that it won't be dragon minions. Looking forward to the new threats!

I've really enjoyed the last few balance patches under the new balance team. It's really just great to see them being at ease with reworking individual skills, skill types and traits. So much better than the time where it was all about numbers and incremental "shaves". I don't think there has ever been so much viability in the PvE side of the game ever and it just feels like more builds become more viable every patch. I appreciate not everyone will get what they want, but not everything can be delivered all at once. As a fan of staff ele, this patch made me really happy. Can totally see it becoming a thing again in WvW. Still hoping for some initiative changes on thief eventually, but I am optimistic this balance team will continue to deliver.

Hi all Our static is recruiting About us We are 5 players looking to form a new static, and are carved from an older training static. Real life has meant that some players from the older static were no longer able to regularly turn up to the static and we found ourselves increasingly looking for pugs. Having played together weekly for two months now, we are all pretty comfortable with each other and enjoy playing together. Goal of the static We do weekly full clears of W1-4 on Mondays and are training W5-7 on Tuesdays and Thursdays (currently on W6 and W7 - moving W5 after). This is subject to change once we get better, and we can then remove one of the training days. Raid schedule Monday: 7.15pm-9.30pm CESTTuesday: 9pm-12am CESTThursday: 9pm-12am CEST What we are looking for Our static has a range of experience from around 150 LI to 2,000 LI+. We are looking for dedicated players with a minimum of 150 LI with good experience of W1-4, and wanting to progress to full clearing W5-7. You don't need to be perfect (minimum req is only 150 LI), however, we are not purely a training guild anymore so would like people who are mostly comfortable with the mechanics and bosses for W1-4. There is no expectation for you to have exp with W5-7. Players wanting to apply should also be comfortable with their class(es) and role(s). You should also care about self-improvement and be hitting a good % of the benchmark DPS. Most importantly, we don't take ourselves too seriously and enjoy good chats/banter on our raids. We are therefore looking for similar minded people. A good patch for the most part. The absence of any changes to rev is just jarring though. Please fix this obvious bug.
