Ashen.1347's Achievements

  1. I agree with this. No point in coming up with "new" content that's just a slight alteration of something that's already successful. Maybe come up with solo, training or tiered modes so people can learn mechanics, polish the encounters and such. That way the game isn't bloated with dated, useless content (see: dungeons), that people only do for the sake of gated rewards.
  2. My approach to crafting legendaries is to just wait for the clovers from log in rewards, that gives me enough time to farm all the mats and gold I would need.
  3. Considering how bad the average GW2 player is, it's not just you. But the game isn't difficult at all, at least open world content. If we're talking about raids and fractals, that'd be debatable. And strike missions are meme-tier. Between players not knowing what any of their skills and traits do, or how to CC mobs effectively, leads to a disparity between "good" players, and the kind of player that just auto attacked (or boosted) his way to 80. The fact that most people bring raid/fractal builds into open world doesn't help either, as most builds require certain boons and healing to be effective. Some professions are also way easier to play than others. An example being scourge and scrapper, which are nigh unkillable with parasitic contagion and impact savant traits respectively.
  4. Oh shoot, sorry. I forgot people don't actually mean what they say! Such a rookie mistake 😉
  5. I dunno man. In all of my thousands of hours of gameplay, I don't recall ever being forced to swap weapons. You can keep camping your greatsword on a dragonhunter. We'll all laugh at your dps, but nobody would be forcing you to play optimally 🙂 There are also plenty of builds that don't require weapon swapping at all to be effective (Scourge, condi Soulbeast, Herald, Renegade, etc), but from the tone of your post, I guess you just wanted something to cry about.
  6. I didn't play all of them, but the ones I did felt very uninspired. I enjoyed mechanist the most, but controlling that golem felt awful, and the fact that you can't use it underwater was a huge meme.
  7. Cap your framerates. Your gpu is either overworking itself for no reason or you have a bitcoin miner installed on your pc.
  8. We run fractals daily at reset (00:00 UTC, check your time zones!), we currently only do T4s and Recs, we may do a CM here and there depending on everyone's experience and willingness. Our only requirements are to have an optimized build for your class according to the current meta (either power or condi are fine), and most importantly, having enough commitment to run with us every day at the same time. Of course life happens, and if you have to take a day or two off we'll understand. We are currently looking for one alacrity renegade and one DPS (banner warriors are welcome). If that sounds like something you're interested in, send me a whisper or a mail in game, my IGN is Ashen.1347.
  9. Hey, I have the same problem. Did you ever manage to fix it? I was hoping to find an in-game setting to disable the dramatic zoom out/fov change, but I couldn't find one.
  10. Flow takes way too long to charge, and it also takes way too long to convert to charges for dragon trigger. It's almost impossible to use dragon trigger efficiently in PvE because everything interrupts it. I'd say give us a trait for pulsating stability and/or aegis while in the dragon trigger stance to make it even remotely fun to use in PvE, because as it's stands right now I see no reason to ever play bladesworn in PvE because both berserker and spellbreaker feel better to play and doesn't require 10 seconds of setting up to do damage. If any devs actually read this, look up the longsword from "Monster Hunter World: Iceborne" with it's Iai and foresight slashes, because THAT'S how you translate real life Iaido to video game mechanics. And last but not least, the gunsaber itself feels very slow, clunky and unrewarding. Skills 3 and 4 are indistinguishable from each other, the skill 5 though is an OK dodge.
