There's a lot of attention going to afk hands, but the real issue is afk brains. Most players can't explain why they go to a specific node or press a specific skill. The random interactions of these players decide the outcome of games and its inherently unfun. It doesn't even feel like 'conquest' anymore because the entire game is elo hell. As a pvp veteran you just have to obliterate everything you encounter in a short timeframe and hope one of your glue sniffing teammates accidently makes the right rotation.

They don’t want FB to be meta or else they would have given it crazy buffs with broken interactions like all the other specs get (and then revert half of it 6 months later). There is only one explanation that makes sense. What if they nerfed FB so hard into irrelevancy just so that they could then give it small random meaningless buffs for years in order to artificially thicken patch notes and make it look like theyre actually doing work? They’re just chopping up the buffs in smaller pieces so that taking the spec from gigatrash to just regular trash generates 3 years worth of patch notes. Is this the anet variant of netflix turning a documentary into 6 episodes or what??

Afk is not about hands its about brain. 99% of ranked games has people in it with an afk brain. They can't tell you why they made a certain rotation or used a skill at a particular moment.
