I'm experiencing the same issue, but with my Soulbeast whenever I merge with my pet. I made a post about that as well; seems to be a common issue with profession mechanics.

With the new DX11 Beta, whenever I merge with my pet via the Beastmode Soulbeast profession skill my game freezes then I receive the "GW2 game client is not responding" pop-up. I have tested it a few times and concluded it only happens with the DX11 beta option enabled and only when I merge with my pet. Anyone else having this issue? On another note: is there a consolidated thread Anet created to report DX11 bugs? similar to the elite specialization beta test week feedback thread.
