I know this is a small offer, but if you need help finding armor/gear to complete your character's look, I love the fashion/cosmetic side of GW2 and am very familiar with all the armor/weapons. I often help people find just the right pieces to get that look they're going for. I wish I could send you a makeover kit, but alas I'm short on funds. However, please feel free to poke me in-game if you need help with the fashion stuff! :)

I think it would be helpful to specify certain gliders or mount skins you're looking for. Perhaps list several that are on the top of your list? That way those who are looking to gift will know what specifically to send, otherwise they might send something that you already have. For mount skins, are there certain skin sets (Desert Racer, Istan Isles, Distant Lands, etc) you like in particular? Then gifting one of the random mount licenses would be an option to give you one you don't have. Cheers! :)

I recently obtained my very own Ramona, and she's SO adorable!! I had to post a comment because I just find this whole idea wonderful and heart-warming. What a lovely tribute to a dear friend, and now Ramona will accompany me on all of my adventures across Tyria! Thank you for being the best dev team I've ever encountered (and I've played a lot of MMOs!). It's things like this that make me love this game even more. Thanks again for dear, sweet Ramona, and for making her easy/cheap to obtain too (my in-game purse is grateful haha). <3

I've been poking around this thread trying to get up the nerve to make my own request. It heartens me to see so many people in the giving spirit, as well as those who receive graciously. Hats off to both the creator of this thread, and those who have kept it alive! I hope I've followed the rules correctly, so here goes nothing! Due to financial struggles IRL, it's difficult for me to treat myself to things in the gemstore (and I can't seem to get the hang of money-making in-game, perhaps what I really need is crash course in that! lol). As such, my request is from the gemstore, since I love cosmetic things and of course, Fashion Wars! Scaled Dragon Wings/Backpack - This beauty made my jaw drop when I previewed it, the wings move so fluidly, and I'm obsessed with wings! And dragons for that matter! For a cheaper option:EDIT: OHMYGOODNESSOHMYGOODNESS! I just saw the new Mount Skin pack and there's a SNOW LEOPARD GRYPHON MOUNT!!!!! Snow leopards are my favorite animals EVER, and it's soooo gorgeous! So instead of requesting the Desert Racer License, I'm changing it to the Distant Lands Mount Adoption License in the hopes of getting that amazingly gorgeous snow leopard gryphon!!!! I can't believe it, it's like Anet packaged a Christmas present for me inside the mount skins, SQUEE!I've been looking through the thread for ways for me to give back as well. Since gemstore items aren't really an option for me, I can however, offer my experience and knowledge in-game. I know this isn't an answer to any particular request, but I'm always happy to help with exploration (I can help with portals too), events, tips/advice, or just whatever help you need in-game, within reason. In particular, I know the open world very well and love to explore/map complete. I'm always happy to help, so don't hesitate to poke me in-game! :) ***Edited to change my request. If you were only having trouble in one game session, it's possible that it was bugged in your specific instance. But that doesn't mean that it is bugged for everyone in every map instance. Relogging or coming back to that zone later to try to get a different instance could help to get a map where this event was not bugged. I did try to find another map instance where this was working. After doing various events in an attempt to trigger it and waiting a long while, I went to other maps and then came back later, only to run into the same instance. I did not check my map shard IP to see if they were the same. However I did run into other people who had encountered the same bug.

The event chain for Second Spear Nayrim in Desert Highlands appears to be bugged. I waited over an hour around Makali Outpost and it did not trigger. After joining a party in LFG also seeking this event chain, I checked out a group event to Assault the Mordant Crescent at the camp. This is bugged; you can't speak to the NPC to start it, and the Champion baddie is marked friendly and just patrols around. I am wondering if there is a link between the two. Since the Nayrim events start with the Mordant Crescent assaulting Makali Outpost, and this event is stuck, perhaps that is why the event chain is stalled out. A fix would be awesome; this is the last thing I need for the Open Skies: Desert Highlands achievement for Zaklem: Rune of Loyalty.

I was able to get past this on the third try. I turned all my graphics to lowest setting (not sure if this helped or not but it's one of the things I did), and as soon as I defeated the Eater of Souls I ran past Joko and up to the gate to the portal. After Joko's conversation, as soon as the prompt to open the gate came up, I spammed it and jumped through the portal. I hope this helps!

I've encountered (and reported in game) this bug many times in the past few months. I searched for another thread on this topic but couldn't find any (I may have missed one possibly?). Bug: Sometimes when using Ranger Greatsword Skill #3 "Swoop", the Eagle spirit animation/visual gets stuck on top of my character as well as the (very very annoying) WHOOSH WHOOSH sound of the wings flapping. It will last until you either close the game or go to character creation. I most recently encountered this bug when transitioning to the second area in PoF "The Departure", and had to deal with the visual/audio glitch during the whole time there. It's distracting and highly annoying. My graphics are set to Medium Shaders, no Shadows, high Postprocessing, High Textures/Animation, etc. I'm on medium custom graphics. If you need precise settings I'm using, please let me know. On behalf of the sanity of all GS rangers out there, I beseech you to address this! Thank you :)

Would like to add my own bug report to this. Played through The Departure twice in the past hour or so, both times it disconnects when talking to Joko AFTER defeating the Eater of Souls. I'm on a cliffhanger here! Please fix ASAP, thanks! The last thing in the conversation thread before the game crashes is my character saying (SPOILER!!!)....."I need your army, but I don't need you". I have not gotten past this part yet.
