  1. Were you doing that both times it was available for free? That is some seriously bad timing.
  2. Whole group of people waiting to get this achievement done - bosses started popping up after meta completed but always with 15s timers. We tried not using skyscales, making sure the boss gets the first hit in, making sure we broke the defiance bar and more but always they despawn after 15 seconds.
  3. I caught the Phantom Pollock in Open Water in Inner Nayos yesterday but it did take me a really really long time (esp. considering that they are supposed to be common fish!) Others in the map stated that they had caught one in the normal pools on around 20 tries and were surprised at how long it was taking me. Daydream was pretty frequent whilst trying to get the pollock though.
  4. The skills bar disappears but that does not mean that you cannot complete the episode since all of your skills still work with the standard keybinds. Also, Peitha will revive you if you are ever downed. When Cerus gets to 75% and gains the Impenetrable Defence buff, you just need to press your Special Action Key to remove that buff and spawn a pair of demons. Defeat one of them and then continue to attack Cerus until 50% when you just repeat the same SAK, kill demon, kill Cerus steps again (and again at 25%) and then use SAK at 10% and at 5% to defeat Cerus and move to the next step. You can do the whole thing using just auto-attack if you want.
  5. If you are looking to complete a collection either through crafting or the trading post it can be difficult to determine which items you already have unlocked versus those that you are missing. It can also lead to mistakes in crafting items that you already completed and did not intend to make again. There should be an option to filter out all of the items that are already unlocked on your account so you can see at a glance the ones that are still required. A very good example would be trying to buy a new minipet on the Trading Post.
  6. Opened a ticket for this 3 days ago and have just been informed that they are unable to deal with API issues in support tickets and advised to post here. The error returned is exactly as posted above for all characters and all accounts as far as can be determined.
  7. You have to earn both experience in the correct game section AND earn the appropriate number of mastery points from the correct game section. Select a mastery and when you have both maxed out the experience and obtained the mastery points required you can train the mastery (and thus gain a higher yellow number on your character portrait) and then choose a new one to train. https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Mastery_point_unlocks tells you where all the mastery points are.
  8. You really have to actually do the jumping puzzle properly once you have interacted with the lower crystal. If you use any kind of mount, portal, teleport etc etc before you have run and jumped to the top crystal then it won't work and you have to go back to the beginning again.

If you look at the warrior traits, Arms is the only trait line that even mentions critical hits The wiki states that: Arms is a core specialization for the warrior that focuses on critical hits and condition damage. The fact that no-one used it because were better ways to get critical chance improved (like having a ranger with spotter permanently strapped to your back) is precisely the kind of weird discrepancy that should be fixed. On the other hand, calling such changes "balancing" is quite a lot of a stretch.
  10. Standing in the hitbox kind of works but is really annoying. Standing smack in the middle of the platform and using push seems to reflect as expected - it is a lot more annoying in trib mode because of the annoying zappy things that come attack you but it worked in both normal and trib mode
  11. I have the same problem. I opened a ticket with support who suggested that I: 1: log it as a bug in-game 2: report it on these forums
  12. Several platforms and things on the way up are indeed very very glitchy but I have not noticed any problems with the final jump. In previous years, a lot of people (with newer faster computers or better Internet maybe?) would be jumping a long time before the window cracked for me and apparently getting to the chest. This year that last jump seems much smoother and more reliable to complete (not had any problems with it yet) - could be DX11 makes it smoother maybe.
