Doubtful, since the problem is probably account related. Tried everything to fix the issue, uninstalled addons, repair, clean install of the game, tried in dx9 and dx11, moving the game folder to a different place and starting the game as admin, deleting bin 64, cleared game cache and temp, reinstalled and updated the windows visual c++ redistributables, flushed dns, checked if any weird .dlls are running with gw ( nothing out of the ordinary); but nothing seems to help. Don't have any overlays enabled. However, the reason why I think its acc related is that I tried it out with another account on my pc yesterday and it works just fine there, no crashes. Definitely an issue on anets client side. Some people in other threads tried that as well, same conclusion.

Just tried it with a friends account on my pc and can confirm, it works. (he has two beta characters set up, I have none) Can open the gemstore there without a problem. My account however is crashing nonetheless. So most likely an issue on anets side, crucial information there.

Same problem here! opened a thread about that with the crashlog an hour ago as well.

Hey, Since the last update my game keeps crashing whenever I try to access the gem store. Doesn't matter if I press O or click on the Icon in the top. Everything else is working fine, other menus like friendslist, character tab etc, I can talk to the trading post vendors and buy/sell stuff there and even look at the currency exchange tab. But once I switch to the gem store, the game is crashing. I uninstalled every addon I've used, tried to repair the game and even did a complete fresh installation of the game, still no success there. Will post the last crash log in spoiler below, if that helps. cheers
