Wanna throw this out there cause I am dumb. If anything goes in Open world/ low end pve... Is Rifle warrior any good? I kinda like the kit and berserker ability for rifle is pretty fun.

Still uncertain. I got it to Holosmith, Renegade, or Mirage. All see pretty fun. Feel a bit squishy on Holo. I do if I do not dodge right on Mirage. Rev has some good condi but all the swapping seems like alot for my simple brain.

I normally just rush in. I play DPS in most other MMOs. I like ranged over melee but can do melee if it is fun. Right now I am trying out Mirage, Deadeye, Holosmith, and maybe boon Herald.

Tried out some fractals with some new guildmates. Mirage kinda crazy all over. I didn't have alot but it was quiet alot to keep up with. Deadeye was easier but idk if I was contributing all that much. I have yet to try holosmith outside of soloing. How does it compare to scrapper?

I am enjoying condi Mirage atm. But something in the back of my mind is still screaming to take P/P Deadeye cause unload is so simple but so powerful.

Wild card. Turns out I thought I wouldn't like Mesmer. I was wrong, Mirage is pretty fun.

I do notice the heavy single target of Deadeye. I am only trying to justify Engi in my head for some reason as a kitless build. I also have a Revenant and Guardian. Plus 2 80 boosters just sitting around. I generally like ranged DPS classes but can do melee if it is engaging. I do like more AoE than single target and I am just looking for PvE builds. I am not a competitive person at all.

Just wanting opinions between these two specs. I am not asking you to choose for me.

Sorry. Its just something burned into my from back in my WoW days. I just want one main to focus on and get really good at rather than waste time leveling and gearing something I won't like.

So recently got back into the game after a long hiatus. It was around HoT release I quit. Now back and have no idea what to main. Right now I am tittering between P/P Deadeye or Holosmith build. Not sure which to focus on. Even now I thought I would love Mechanist but it seems to have fallen flat for me. While I thought I wouldn't like Specter but have found the wells much more interesting. Any advice to help me narrow down this choice?
