  1. I've spent the last three chapters chasing and closing rifts, an annoying, boring, and repetitive experience. I've abandoned the main story because of that, it's unbearable, just can't swallow it anymore. EoD had a decent story, then the living world went to s... I like the relics and the weapons idea, will stick to PvP and EoD's strikes , but for sure I'll go for FFXIV as main game, that's a game with good story. Ah, BD3, rings a bell? New standards? This is not acceptable, for a multimillion dollar enterprise.

  4. I sincerely don't like the direction this game is going and consider rejoining FFXIV. It' a mess. Some classes have it easy, just because, and others have to go to lengths to do similar things. Plus the imbalance in traits and so on. Signet Cata should be considered an exploit, sincerely. Plus the scepter 2, who hits no matter what and follows you?
  5. Patch is awful, as the last two live chapters. It's more spammy and no one sane would go in a team with an alac druid, instead of a ham, and so on. It's way worse.
  6. How to describe the new chapter in a word? Ah, yes. Garbage! This is unacceptable. If the future content is heading in this direction, it's a bad one.
  7. I agree with LucianTheAngelic.7054 You try to fix (prob badly) a problem of your own creation, it was predictible Vindi could have infinite dodges from day one you announced the patch. I mean, those guys you PAY, do test things before?
  8. Look, like in everything. common sense has to be used. I tried to do a strike on my Harb with a build I was confident to get 12k in OW solo. I did 4k in the strike, it was depressing, and we failed due to a pug made from overconfident people like me. After spending 15 minutes researching the strike and the raid builds, and using the help of a guildie with audio, we did the strike easily and I was on 4th place as dps. The snowcrows builds are OK. For my main I can do my own stuff, but for the rest of the classes I noticed I'm better starting from the snowcrows builds and working around if needed, with minor changes you can trade some dps for sustain without much trouble.
  9. This is a condi build for open world that is very survivable and has a lot of sustain. Wilderness S 312 Beastmastery 332 Soulbeast 233 Same works with Untamed, taking the middle on the last row, for sustain, but 1 is very good too, recharging the skills. Any stat with condi for soulbeast, trailblazer, viper, shaman, plaguedoctor, carrion. For Untamed, put more in power. Dragon armor with viper trinkets, or something of the sort. Dagger/torch, SB for soulbeast, axe/torch /hammer for Untamed Sanctuary rune will give barrier on heals, very good, commands will give regen, and so on.   10. My main beef is that the healing on damage trait does not work with rune of Sanctuary, like the heal on poison for the Soulbeast.
  11. Harbinger in beta 1 was fun enough to play. Now it's unpalatable. What sane of mind person would use that heal? The elixirs are so meh that there isn't one that's worth taking over core skills. The blight is offering very bad reward for the risk. Look at specter heal and barrier trait, harbinger should have something similar. There are tons to say here, but sincerely, in can be reduced to: What were you thinking, Anet?
  12. It is MUCH better. Condi power hybrid builds are very good, I find power builds less so because the pet unleashed attacks have condi anyway, so except if there is some options like for the mechanist, to choose a power pet unleashed attack, it obliges for at least a hybrid build. Now for the things that need some attention: There is no way to tell when the ambush skill is reloaded, and the reload is too long. The time for the ambush is too short, especially for the short bow, there is no time to target it Pet AI is not so good. Vine prison should be instant, it's impossible to catch anyone in pvp with it due to the cast time, and in pve there's no need for it. The spore utility can be improved more, the poison damage is very weak. The heal is better but still not as good as the other heals. Overall, it feels really nice.
  13. Seems so, yes, all boons etc. It's more appealing probably to main guardians though. And I still find the damage a little lacking. Probably main guardians could do with.
  14. I have the opposite opinion. I play this for fun, and don't feel very competitive about it, because in RL I did a lot of competitions in some domains. I never wanted to grind for a legendary since obtaining ascended is easier and you can get so many of them for the price and time you spend on a legendary. Buying selling will make them more available and lower the prices in a while.
  15. Beta 2 made it a glass canon without a canon. It's bad. Elixirs are meh, sincerely, the condi they do can be done by tons of other skills. Shroud hits hard, but because it does not replace health, in PvP it's a sitting duckling. The changes were pointless and made it un fun.
