  1. so you tried add -repair to the command line of the target on the shortcut? instead of -repair do -dx11 may need to delete the temp folder: go to file explorer type %temp% on the top bar delete the gw2cache folder launch game with -dx11 tag.
  2. try editing the command line on your game icon... add -repair "C:\Games\Guild Wars 2\Gw2-64.exe" - repair that seems to work for a few folks.
  3. rename your GW2-64.exe file to GW2-64.exe.old (this file still had an old august timestamp on it) click on the game icon to launch the game. log in. exit game. now your executable has 11/9 timestamp form build. rename the file back to GW2-64 Log in an enjoy.
